One of Nexon's masterpieces. I don't see many threads about the game...I hope there's more of you that play this wonderful game.

Way better than SRO.

Watched the video on the site, when I saw the world shots I got pretty enthusiastic but then I saw the characters and it was just a huge turn off :(

What's wrong with the characters -_- there's nothing wrong with them. Far more realistic imo. Graphics and characters and the whole story is anime-based, not real world proportions/drawings like SRO might be. But who said anime was bad? You just need to get used to it

You haven't even played it properly and you're judging it :(

Game support is fine...I played 3 months straight and never encountered a bug or bot. Yes, you read that right, NO BOTS
Its just like SRO and pretty much any other mmporg..its free to play and download, but upgrades and weps/item stuff require money.
And yeah, the soundtrack is nice

No level cap that I know of. Yes, I wrote above that there is something similar to an item mall. You'll have to learn about "builds" yourself >.> there are guides on the main page.

Its a far different experience from SRO. Forget SRO when you play...you've got to look at it with a different perspective.

unfortunately, i have to disagree about bots. there are plenty of bots in mabinogi, even though it's not even close to the level SRO has. there are spam bots in town and gold bots in the fields, but they are rather limited to very low level areas since the combat system is too difficult for a bot to learn.

about f2p... it's not exactly f2p, since if u don't have premium service u wont be able to do a lot of stuff. it's more like free to try game.

Last point not true. -___- although I will concede that gold bots do exist, you can't compare them to the bot insanity you encounter in SRO.

Face it - you can't do so much without cash as much as you can't do in Mabinogi. Every MMPORG has a cash shop...its just that some are worth paying and some aren't.

I played it with my friends, it's fun and social.

Really keeps you into it with Part-Time Jobs, Dungeons, Skills varying from playing a banjo to knocking a spider across the screen.

I'd say it's a decent game :]

Never give up Crimson. Obviously playing SRO has softened you up into a wussy.

Good! You have more time to play Mabinogi (given that you're not playing anything right now)!

I just don't like the looks of the characters.

When I typed that previous comment I was downloading the game weanwhile, still wanted to try it out. Installed it, patched it, made an account and BAM when trying to log in they told me it was available for North Americans only. There wasn't a single mention of that in the entire download / signup / install process :|
