Avalon has constantly raised themselves as the pinnacle of Legits. They praise themselves more than anyone else for being soooo Legit and soooooo Anti-Bot and for standing for everything thats good and legit in this game. They love it, its probably what they dream about when they sleep, how legit they are. When they came to Venus they raised the bar on themselves, they wanted a LegitvsBot war and welcomed all challengers. On Venus they constantly harass, PK, abuse, and put down all botters they come in contact with. They even formed a little alliance with all the other legits and pass down laws on Venus like demi-gods. Everything they do they defend by saying its LegitsvsBots....

How can they challenge the biggest bot guild on Venus aka the Biggest Group of Cheaters on Venus and not expect this to be LegitvsBot like they have always made it. Avalon knows that botters get their kicks off kicking legit butt and Avalon knows it so rarely happens and Avalon also knows that they have become more than a guild, they have, through some twist or mistake, become a symbol. A symbol which every botter on that server would love to crush and rub in avalons smug little faces. So not only do they accept this war but then they also agree to disband if they lose! They give them the opportunity to destroy the symbol of what little legitimacy is left in this game! Did they not think they would not go all out, did they not think that they wouldn't use every trick in the book. Thats beyond naive, thats just stupid. They can cry about this all they want but Avalon has constantly praised their own tactical genius so this was not a mistake. I don't think they went into this expecting them to play fair, i think they expected exactly what happened and they still thought they could win. But they lost. Cursed by their own hubris......

They can try to weasel out of the disbanding thing on technicalities but that will only make the botters laugh harder than they already are. I honestly think Avalon is too important to disband as I said, its a symbol, and the lack of that symbol will be a constant reminder of the Failure of Legits and the victory of Bots. But to keep Avalon will just fill the bots with smug satisfaction as well....so i guess it doesn't really matter what they do, the damage is done.

I was banned for punishment description. Yes, I was on a ban list. Yes, you defended me. No, I don't want to ban Kyau, but if the rules permit banishment as the punishment it will be delivered. This isn't the first time Kyau has accused without evidence.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Avalon accepted the war under certain conditions. Those conditions were not met by Epic. If I'm not mistaken, once a guild war is declared and started, the guild members can't just cancel the war. Maybe the guild leader can? Yes, even with such dire consequences, Avalon still put up a fight and came through pretty strong I'd say. Only lost by a small margin to a lot more than just Epic themselves.



OK. I have a guild on Venice. It's just my wife and I (retired). So I guess I should go back and declare war against one of the top guilds in Venice, recruit a few hundred people into a huge union before the war starts, win, and claim that my guild (remember only 2 people) is better than that 'top guild'?

your right in most of your points except the last one. the damage is done to our pride, but thats as far as the damage goes. it has the opposite effect that the bots wanted. even legits that hate avalon on venus are uniteing to fight the bots. they fear loseing the server more then they hate us. we have given them a free ride for about a year now. now that the ride is getting bumpy, they are more then willing to get out and push the damn car themselves.

and the terms we agreed on did not get broken by Epic compleatly, just bent a little. So Avalon cant break its promise to disband, but we can bend it just like they did

Actually there were more outcomes to your detriment, especially if the other team was aiming higher. Though I don't think wishing you luck is appropriate, since you're already making lemonade, which is great. Besides, we're just spectators. In all honesty, I envy being in your position.
