The rule is a guideline for a reasonable threshold. What you are suggesting, along with so many other similar posts is the "gray area". Now using my limited deductive reasoning, the rule was in place because it appears to be the logical compromise to enforce a system in place, that would require the least manpower possible (as far as policing in a free game goes). Teasing out the gray bits require a lot of effort, resource and time (at least with what I have in mind so I won't even suggest it). If you or anyone can come up with a better idea, then please share it.

+1 yes. This rule hasn't existed since Venus came out. it was only after we had a lot of problem deciding who could join the union, when the 'senators' VOTED for it. anyone who had problems with it could've argues otherwise.

I don't know what kept you endure these rules, but seriously this is not different than a dictator government. All your acts are under their control and you have to ask them every time you want to do smt. Game is the freedom, when you can't do smt in real life, you'll realize that in game you can do whatever you want (and face the consequence). Guild is not an obligation. If they don't want you in guild, you can quit. Ppl who're "scared to banned" are just childish. Especially Fly/NB can't ever control me

So every time a new guild is created, ppl have to report you if they are black or white? Who do you thing you are to oblige me to report you?

It's not because that the Avalons want to have a legit server, but because they want to eliminate their concurrents ie bots, so by having advantage from the gold bots, sosun stuffs and gold, they'll sure be the number one and own all other legits.

Wait I am in and I question it. The big thing for me that really is ruining trying to spend some time on SRO is who the fark should I party with and how the frell it will reflect on everyone else. As someone who does not play daily or hardcore it is a bit much to ask that we remember absolutely every union and guild etc. Fun is fun but that sort of stuff can still harsh a buzz. Trust me if every time I am on I am asking is it ok to be with so and so I would quickly get ignored I am sure. It is all part and parcel of why I am not on that much. I know it is a matter of time till I fark up on accident lol. So it just kinda is meh.

1. yes, IF you WANT to be able to party with the unions, then you HAVE to make a posting so that we all will know about your guild. And yes i am no one to order you but if you don't do it, tough luck have fun soloing ^_^

2. just because you are 6d and not in a guild doesn't make you a target. if i met you online i'll probably ignore you, its simple as that.
