Just thought i'd make one, haven't really seen one yet. The recent episodes are killer. Season four is coming out! I was just wondering, who is your favorite character?
and, if you would be a hero, which powers would you have.
remember, with every power has a flaw.



List of Abilities:

Ability supercharging
The ability to supercharge other evolved human abilities
(sort of like an adrenaline rush)

Accelerated probability
The ability to predict the probability of a certain event correctly and accelerate one's self to achieve those predictions.

Adoptive muscle memory
The ability to replicate any physical action after seeing it performed
(you never forget what you see)

Alchemy
The ability to change the molecular composition of any material to gold

Bliss and horror
The ability to bring about feelings of bliss and horror in others

Clairsentience
The ability to perceive the history of an object by touching it

Clairvoyance
The ability to see distant people and things

Constriction
The ability to mimic the attributes of a constricting snake, including squeezing extra-tightly with one's body, numbing with one's touch and gender neutrality

Electric manipulation
The ability to create and direct electrical arcs
(shoot lightning with hands)

Electronic communication
The ability to intercept, generate, and interpret electronic, digital, and radio transmissions with one's mind

Empathic mimicry
The ability to duplicate the powers of other evolved humans within proximity and reproduce them at will when thinking about the original source of the power
(power copycat)

Enhanced hearing
The ability to hear any sound at any volume

Enhanced memory
The ability to quickly absorb and accurately retain great amounts of information

Enhanced strength
The ability to exert greater than normal physical force

Flight
The ability to propel oneself through the air

Freezing
The ability to reduce temperatures and freeze objects by force of will

Gravitational manipulation
The ability to create gravitational vacuums
(create black holes)

Healing
The ability to heal the wounds of others
(could only heal others, not yourself)

Illusion
The ability to alter the perceptions of others

Impenetrable skin
The ability of one's skin to not be penetrated by anything
(kind of like superman)

Induced radioactivity
The ability to manipulate the movement of subatomic particles, thus generating and emitting toxic radiation
(create nuclear bombs)

Intuitive aptitude
The ability to analyze complex systems and intuitively understand how they work without special education or training
(kind of like adoptive muscle memory)

Invisibility
The ability to not be seen
(can make others invisible too)

Lie detection
The ability to detect when others lie
(feel a vibration when they lie)

Magnetism
The ability to manipulate ferrous objects and materials

Mental manipulation
The ability to manipulate others' minds, causing them to lose memories or be prevented from using mental powers
(if you are in a distance of other heroes, they cant use their powers)

Metal mimicry
The ability to transmute one's own body into metal

Persuasion
The ability to force others to obey one's spoken commands
(speaks in a deep dark ugly voice )

Phasing
The ability to pass through solid objects at will
(this is slow, but maybe you can go faster?)

Poison emission
The ability to harm or kill people in the immediate area by emitting a deadly poison
(kills everyone in a distance, based on emotions)

Power absorption
The ability to steal another's ability, rendering them powerless
(come into contact with the other hero)

Precognition
The ability to accurately predict future events through paintings

Precognitive dreaming
The ability to see the future through dreams

Puppet master
The ability to control a person's physical actions
(with just your fingers. you can control more than one person)

Pyrokinesis
The ability to create and control fire using the power of the mind
(blue or red flames)

Rapid cell regeneration
The ability to heal wounds quickly without any scarring
(injecting of your blood into other people can heal them: diseases, scars etc.)

Sound manipulation
The ability to manipulate sound waves using one's voice

Space-time manipulation
The ability to alter the space-time continuum, including slowing down, speeding up, reversing, stopping, moving backwards and forwards through time, and moving instantaneously through space

Super speed
The ability to move at a higher rate than normal
(travel as fast as the speed of light)

Technopathy
The ability to control and manipulate technology with the mind

Telekinesis
The ability to move objects with the mind

Telepathy
The ability to mentally control functions of the brain
(you could read minds and control what people see/make illusions)

Teleportation
The ability to teleport anywhere in the world.




My favorite character is Claire Bennet. Not only is she uber hawt but her ability can save wonders.

and if i were a hero, i would like to have pyrokinesis (blue flames), electric manipulation (red lightning) which is a cool combination. superspeed, enhanced strength, rapid cell regeneration, ability supercharging (so i can give people temporary powers) and teleportation. i would be beast.

At the end of season 3, Peter got his powers back. I just hope he doesn't make the same mistakes as last time. Hopefully, he only gets his basic power of empathic mimicry and not intuitive aptitude or whatever Sylar/Gabriel gave him. Or can he just think about Claire/Hiro/etc. and he'll still be able to use their powers, because he met them in the past, even though he lost his powers?

yeah same thing i was thinking. we arent sure, we only know he can fly and what if thats his only power. the formula is weird, ando's power is pretty sick, i like the red sparks.

Turns out the future was right, except for, wasn't he using his powers to kill Hiro? I thought he shot some red laser at hiro because they were enemies and that was supposed to kill him. I guess it could possibly overload a power and kill them as Ando gains more control over it?

yeah thats pretty much it, ando gets more control over his powers like everyone else. i think ando just has to shock peter and peter will get his powers back, or he will blow up




yeahh. that is cool but the only flaw with that is, what if you are the only hero? youd have no powers to absorb

Peters or sylars.
The one from Arthur is nice as well because it's easier to not have "negative" powers unlike Peter who can blow up half of New York due to instability.

Imagine that. No one can see you and you have noclip mode on. Could have some fun with this

There allready is a Superpowers/hero's thread somewhere. It was rather large to.

yeah that would be cool, but i hated arthurs character so bad

Telepathy

If you freeze the time you get to do naughty things but if you can control others minds, man just think of the possibilities.

telekinesis: just imagine supercharging a chocolote bonbon through someone's digestetive system or using toothpicks as an automatic rifle
super speed: I dont feel the need of going at light speed but mach 2 or 3 should be more than enough
Adoptive muscle memory: if it works for cartoons and movies...

don't need flight, I could launch myself with superspeed or use telekinesis.


ps. heroes is pretty boring imo, RL superhuman action movies = fail 80% of the time.

I was strongly pissed at the last 2 eps of Heroes in Season3. Elle and Claire mom died. Nathan is so stupid. Hiro lost his powers, Sylar is a crybaby and i hope he stay dead or turn good. Aruthur is dead ( which made no sense whatsoever). Only good thing was Ando getting powers he deserves them.3rd Season started awesome and just died the last 2 eps.
O btw Claire shes hot but i dont care for her character. Peter and Hiro ftw!Ando for the win he will be super important in Season4 and i bet he get more powers. Man thats the only cool thing Ando got powers man...

But if i was to have powers i would only want power over gravity i dont need anything else. We as human already have most of psychic abilites i would just find a way to modify them. But if i had to choose powers.

I also thought that, the space time thing should be the ultimate power, but why is hiro such a noob with it =.= lol.

Sylar stole the ability in season 1 of that woman who could shapeshift.
