Anyway, I got the info I needed. Basically, Phoenix = Coexisting and Thriving with Bots, whilst not allowing them to do so if in guild or party. Venus = DIE BOTS DIEEEEEE.
Sidenote: Baro .-. you left Venus too? I came to venus because of you in the first place! Venus is awesome, and Barotix leaving didn't make much of an impact since he never logged in anyways. xP No offense to him, but in game he is as useful as Foudre. xP Once i went on venus. In all of Constantinople, Academy listings and Party Listings the only legit (atleast who registered something) i saw was foudre who was running a niya pt. Say whatever you want but thats what i saw with my own eyes, it may not have been the most popular time but its the time i play SRO. There was a few legit LTP's though, but most the listings were free ong taxi for jewel box etc.

i think we all need to stop throwing accusations and random crap abthout each other server out. Legits need to be supportive, not rip down one's confidence in their unions.
as i can see: Venus: Pros-Already legit, strong union already established, many legits, good members, less bots, established economy Cons- bad pvp, the whole "if you're not with us you're a bot" thing, boring FW, older server(so if you start off people are already 90 and such)
Phoenix: Pros-new server, many active legits, friends with anyone, many new unions startin up, cool server name, challenging FW (could be pro/con dependin on how u look at it) Cons-Inexperienced leaders(i think..) , by partyin with bots you are helping them level and thereby defeats the whole "legit" server purpose(if tats wat ur aiming for) , smaller server capacity (for now), new server drama, more bots

I have a network of 30 computers, each with its own copy of SRO on it, each logged in with a different SRO account, each hosting an "autoreform" LTP. I spend the whole day rolling around in my chair watching each of those 30 screens in my lab to make sure those parties are full, and if someone drops out, I reform it! No wonder I never level.

@Oyukiyo: That post made me lol. xP @xxbrentonxx: I agree with Oyukiyo. You base your entire opinion on a single connection. Not to mention that you only took notice of parties that were seeking members. What of the already full legit parties? Judging by your post it was during an event, and I doubt it was this one. So maybe the summer event? Which means that at that point in time, there were always 2 guards parties actively grinding, 2 gens parties actively grinding, and 2 chasers parties actively grinding. All with lines miles long for members actively trying to get in the party. So your logic is flawed on a lot of levels. Good thing you aren't on Venus... I am sure you wouldn't like getting murder status on lvl 10 horses. xP @Pawnage: You say there is "bad pvp"? What does that mean exactly? How can you possibly have bad pvp? Unless you constantly lose due to a bad player? Or maybe you mean there is a lack of pvp? Which is false... go to Samarkand South... As for boring FW, it isn't our fault as legits. The bots give up after the first 30 minutes, and that's when they haven't decided to "boycott" the FW. And finally, why does it matter if people are capped already? o.o @BalkanFanaticS: Yes, you definitely did, sir. You definitely did.

To get back on the subject of venus and phoenix, rather than e-peen enlarging flames. Venus does have parties brenton, they are just not always in match. (ty 4teh sig quote btw ) I have partied more in the past week than I have ever on any other server. Phoenix, the only party I could find was people grinding on mobs the same lvl as them, sacred to go 10/11 lvls higher than them, due to a botting mentality. Sitting around bragging and boasting about their softmod accounts and isro accounts. (btw, when i WAS on phoenix, there was only maybe 1 or two people from the guild on. so i dont see how anyone can determine how much i was actually on.) The negatives on venus in my opinion. Are the 40+ solo = bot rule and the unionless guild rule. And I don’t like the "wont party with botters thing." I understand that these rules are in place for a reason and im not debating them. Just giving my opinions. One may say "Hey Nab y u wanna pt wit bats!?!?" well I think places like venus, and phoenix should be about playing the game right. (the whole game SHOULD, but we are all aware of the circumstances) and in doing so, rather than bashing people who break the rules, attempt to show them WHY being legit is better than cheating. If they want to party, show them why its great, remove the preconceived notions that party grinding = nolife. Their eyes will widen when they see they got farther in 3 hours partying than they would in a whole day botting. (seriously, if other certain botters are allowed to be reformed and accepted as legit, should you be encouraging it in others.) Persecution and ridicule can only go so far. Now, this sounds good on paper, and likely doesn’t work. But im still allowed to have my opinions. Again, im aware these rules are there for a reason, and I am NOT contesting them. Just giving opinions.

Zero_Doom wrote: All [parties] with lines miles long for members actively trying to get in the party. A bit off topic since this thread is comparing Venus to Phoenix, but I'll never understand the whole waiting in line thing, especially if that line is "miles long." If there is such a long line for a single party, can't those members join together and form their own party? I'm sure the line isn't just full of ints, or full of warriors or something. There's bound to be a decent mix in that line to form an additional party or two or 10. Maybe the people waiting in line just don't communicate?

End of story. funny how you can come to these percentages, maybe you can elaborate as to what means you gain such numbers. or in what manner you actually interact with sro players to acquire these statistics. maybe they were just made up and you dont know what youre talking about, im betting youll go with the latter to save face. and yes prom we need better communication on venus. to get parties and teach nubs.

Silo, not counting gold bots...venus is probably 40-50% legit. lulz. Turks don't even count. There's ONE bot union, and some halfass roflsauce thing that they'd consider a "union". There's 3 legit unions. =) Any bot on this server is something to laugh at, the only bot that was EVER strong (since I started on venus) was Future, and he quit. LOL.
Anyways, xxbrentonxx, once I went to babel and I saw level 90 gold bots. OMG. Your logic is fail. Going to a server ONCE shows absolutely NOTHING about a server. Go to eye peak on roc mountain, any time of the day, any day a week. You'll find a full legit euro party. Hell you can't find a full Farking euro party with only bots on any other server. Not to mention generals, pegs, gaurds, penons parties. You looked on the party matching, most of the time parties are full and have people waiting for someone to leave.
PS: zomg avalon boot myn fack mather turkeyyyy ftw!

There are 30 white listed guilds. Considering there are minimum 10 members each guild, so 30*10=300, not even counting guild with 50-60 members. And of course, we consider than those ppl in white listed are legits, there are eventually a lot of closet legit who run alt chars.

Just Clarifying a few things: The only way ill ever get murder status is through glitching or accident (eg killing someone gone purple-white wen helping them demurder) Now i know how much of an idiot this makes me sound but i remember back now, I remember talking to my friend about Venus and our chars (my lvl 9 and his lvl 6 lol) at school camp and come to think of it we were also pissed off at how we would miss out on the start of the halloween event, so in actual fact it was 1-3 weeks before then. The ong taxis were actually 100k/h and it was at earth ghosts were there was some free plvl. I was actually going to go on venus again hoping there wud be jewel parties requiring a low lvl, but i just didnt bother going on again. I went on when all servers except venus were full. Most likely there were those parties and i even said to Foudre there were probably more full. How do you expect me to get to lvl 60 etc. when on persia there was frequently parties or people wanting to join parties starting at Mujigi+
