Well, I was kinda... not thinking straight and wasted almost $500 on Silk. I realised this was a bad idea, and am regretting doing so. Especially considering Joymax do little to make this game fun anymore (Looking at current Event) - So if someone could guide me through the Chargeback process. I have done it not long ago, except I forgot.

It would be great if someone could re-explain how to do it. Post under here or PM me please.

(I plan on Quitting Silkroad for good :) )

I think you can chargeback only up to 6 weeks, just to let you know.

Double post :P

I don't think I can do a chargeback now, I used a bank card and only way I could get my money back would be to file a dispute, which means I'd have to lie to PayPal lol and pretend I didn't get something I ordered. In which case I MIGHT get back what I paid for, might not.

You payed for it, you got it and you had fun (probably)...So why chargeback? Chargebacking because you quit is lame, chargebacking at all is lame but ok.

Meh...You'll have to lie either way lol >.>

I didn't even use the Silk. It is still just sitting in my account. The money itself isn't an issue, it's the fact that they're doing nothing to fix the game and we're paying them. Which I'm sick of. :P

So you just gonna take your money back...Ok you didn't use it but still, they delivered what you wanted, it was your choice not to use it and your choice to buy it in the first place. Don't take their money away because you don't like the game anymore.

If I remember correctly somebody said chargebacking now doesn't give the money back and just bans the account.

It should get my all my money back, I must then put it in my Bank Account, then if Joymax try fight back, PayPal will only close my PayPal account.

Maybe they will be stupid and try take it to a court, that will be fun :)

i dought u would charge $500 silk and not use any of it, u prolly have a small amount left , no one charges 500$ silk for no reason

u 1. failed to do what u wanted to do (+7 mabe?)
2.got ur +7 or +9 w/e u were trying to do and decided u didnt like the outcome and think its not worth it and are prolly feeling sick at how much u spent trying to + this item or something and that would be the reason ur wanting to quit now :)

just my thought.

I have +7, no need to try for any more +7's. As I said, the money for me isn't really a problem. I'm not exactly in short supply (sounds totally pathetic and up-myself, no other way to say it).

I just don't want to support them anymore, after they can't A. Fix one of my stallers from the Hotan glitch, been there 2 months. I'm sick of waiting, that contributes to one of the reasons. I'm sick of having to spend a lot of money on buying Premiums every month, Devils Spirit, etc etc.

I'm still thinking about whether or not I'm going to play really, and by the looks of it I can't chargeback anyway, So it makes little or no difference. Which I don't care anyway, I will just move on.

Honestly, You shouldn't buy characters off Ebay, that goes against Sro TOS and Silkroad forums. Anyway, on PayPal there is a section "Resolution Centre" then "View Open Cases", "Dispute a Transaction".

when disputing a transcation, make it into a claim so the process will go faster and get your money back quicker. it will take over 10 days and joymax will NEVER reply back on paypal responding to a dispute or claim.

I have 2 paypal accounts, and it's also spread over 2 accounts. Not just one.

File a dispute and say you didn't get your silk and want your money back. Easy as that.

Well...I don't know bout him, but something made him buy the silk. I buy silk because I like the game, even with all the bots/scammers/goldbuyers etc etc. It was your own fault to buy silk if you want me to put it like that, they delivered so tough luck IMO...Chargebacking is wrong.

On your first statement, if you chargeback, you'll get the money back.

As I said though, the money for me isn't the issue. I couldn't really care less if I don't get the money back. I just don't think I should continue to support their business looking at the way they treat us. If I get my money back, that's a bonus. If PayPal keeps the money for some odd reason, good for them. If Joymax wins the Dispute, I'll try again :)

Charging back is not lame when joymax does not dispute any chargebacks, they refund the money 100% and ban the account.

Want to know what's really lame? Joymax collecting money from all the ccfers and they actually get to keep that money, criminal caught/convicted or not. eww isn't that just lame, I love the evil Joymax gets away with honestly if it was my company I would rape every dollar away from the addicted gamers just the same

Hahahahahahahaha

Some f*cking legit you are, buying a char off ebay to you is strictly forbidden by Joymax TOS and SRF Admins. Yet you are willing to break domestic/international laws of theft and whatever else you are doing because you were too f*cking addicted to a shit game and have since seen how stupid you were.

Wow man. Just wow.

wtf is your problem, you've done bot accusations in multiple threads now that has nothing to do with botting, that should be a IP perminate ban not a 7day, your just coming on here to accuse people of botting with no proof.

+1 to that. Why accuse me of botting when I don't. If I want to chargeback my money that I spent, let me. I bet half the people on here were the ones complaining about "WHA I AM NOT BUYING DEVILS SPIRIT EVERY MONTH" and whatnot, I used to spend a lot of money on this game, and I realised it was a stupid thing to do. I'm not proud of what I done and I don't believe I should continue to fund Joymax for their amazing bot bans, or lack of bot bans, also their events...

& why would anyone want a chargebacked account? ;x I don't believe in giving an account away to randoms. I spent long time making the character to just give it away. At least I went out with some sort of self-dignity by getting myself banned.

@StacE are you suggesting I bought a character off eBay :? I don't even have an ebay account.

I don't find that self-dignity getting yourself banned but nvm...
