Hi all, At the 23th of Dec. Joymax have Startet an " E-Mail Service ". Now we wrote an Letter, that says that they shall change the Fortress Time to the Weekend. Please go all to the silkroadonline.net website and press on " Support" then on " Contact Support" then on " Type Content" and send the letter to joymax. Quote: Dear Joymax Customer Support Team.
To improve every user's gaming experience I want to ask you to change the time of fortress war from Thursday 7pm Silkroad Standard Time (UTC + 9) to Saturday 7pm Silkroad Standard Time. But i do not want to ask you only, I also want to give some really important reasons which might persuade you to change the time of fortress war. As you know, most Silkroad Online players live in Germany, Turkey and the USA. Currently there are really big problems taking part in fortress war because of the different time zones. In Germany for example it is 11am (UTC +1) when fortress war starts. But at 11am most people have to be at school or at work, so they cannot take part in fortress war. In Turkey, it is nearly the same, because it is 12am (UTC + 2) when fortress war starts. Taking a look at the USA, you see that the time differs from 12pm to 5am there (UTC – 5 up to UTC -10) because there are lots of time zones. As you can see, that might be a problem, because from Wednesday to Thursday nearly noone would keep awake nearly the whole night when he/she has to get up early the next morning to go to school or work. That problem would no more exist changing the fortress' day from Thursday to Saturday, because it is no problem to stay out of bed in the night to Saturday, because on Saturday there is no school and much less people have to work. I also know that the servers are crowded at 7pm on Thursday, but that is caused by players, who open a stall when being at school or work and not by players taking part in fortress war. I hope you can follow my thoughts and think about changing the time of fortress war to give much more users the chance to take part in.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you all

Nice letter. Hopefullly they respond to this. Maybe if we all foward this to them they'd have only 1 type of letter to read at 9am in the morning. Well I don't play iSro but im always down for some improvement in what I once thought was a great game, before it became corrupted.

I think they should make the start random, not exactly every 2 weeks at the exact time.

Joymax could do the same. Quote: Would keep it interesting though. I think they should make the start random, not exactly every 2 weeks at the exact time. I disagree. If you have somewhat inactive guild members they may want to fw too.

Good idea. Except if everyone did it. Why?
EGY_ and TR_ are more prevalent in SRO than those who live in America.
Think they will change FW times for us?
No, they are more probable to make it better for TR_ EGY_... and wherever their highest % player base is.

I read all the answers joymax sent, and one was about how this is the best time for most of the players, for their habitats bla bla... But i have never met a single player who think it's a good time... Exept maybe for my BF because his job allows him to participate and a guildmate who explained his teacher what is it about and she allows him to go home earlier from school (the teacher plays WoW).... But there is another thing... The FW has 300 places, and when they are all taken you cannot enter the fortress... So if they change the FW time to saturday it will be like logging in to go into the fortress.... kinda annoying i think... I've seen this on May 1st when many people had break from work and school because of the holiday... So yeah, even that it's a good idea, thinking about it doesn't sound so good...

Hello. this is Silkroad Online.
Dear Silkroad Online customer,
Greetings from the Joymax Customer Support Team! We have received your mail regarding the time of the Fortress War. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, we have conducted a study on player habits around the globe, and as it turns out, the official time of Fortress War posted on our website is the most populated hour for most servers. If the schedule is changed, more people around the world will protest about the change in schedule, unless of course, the game statistics change. Again, we apologize about this, and we hope you understand the situation. Thank you so much for understanding, and have a great time online! Sincerely yours,
Team Joymax

Thats my received letter from Joymax Their statics is incorrect due to gold bots. The gold bots are are mostly from China and Korea so that will effect the server population.
