Check the attack distance of two-handed sword & blade. The difference is 1.2 meters. I would want someone to log in the game who can fight Warrior (and is Blader) or opposite, and cast firewall with Blader. Warrior should run a little back from firewall, and attack Blader with a skill. (So we know the distance between them is 1.8 meters) In theory, Blader wouldnt be able to attack Warrior tru firewall (except with sword throwings). P.S. if Warrior switches to Axes / One Handed Sword, he needs to approach Blader to 0.6 meters, meaning Blader will be able attack again. (Most of people switch to Axes (for sudden twist) unconsciously for bleed/stun, becuase all they know is spam sudden twist -> daredevil.) Can anyone confirm this? EDIT: I tested it, and yes, it IS true. Warriors are ABLE to attack Bladers with firewall, without Bladers being able to attack them back, using two-handed sword (just make sure you run a bit away from Bladers, then use attack skill, so distance is 1.8 meters between two of you). I dont have any video to prove it, but atleast I've proven it to myself, anyone is free to test it.

I think that wouldn't be the case, simply because of my experience with glaivers. Glaive and 2h Sword have the same attack distance. I had glaivers attacking me while I'm under wall. I remember retaliating.

Maybe because you were meleeing all the time, so your distance was 0.6 meters (which is acceptable for you), you casted firewall, and you guys continued bashing? Attack distance was 0.6 meters.
I'll test this after server inspections with Vandango. This occurred to me while I was watching some video, and Warrior got KDed, Blader casted firewall, and Warrior approached him using Daredevil, followed by turn rising... Blader was just standing there, and then he removed firewall, and continued attacking.
Any other opinions SRF?

You have Blader with firewall? Dont you have a Warrior/Warlock? A video would be nice, from Blader's perspective, you mashing keys for knockdown / chains, while Warrior with 2h sword is pure meleeing you (doubleclick is fine too from Warrior's side).

If you want, waste 0.5 seconds running away and attacking back, or you can take out your wand, and waste 6 seconds destroying firewall, that will get up again second after you destroy it.

I still dont have solution for that Well, I do have for myself, since im Warrior/Rogue, I just distance myself, turn on XE and use distance shot, if it crits, most likely bower will be dead, or when he notices that I am attacking him, he'll remove firewall.

Yap. Well i'll ask around abit and see if i can find a way. Cause pvping bowers is real fun, but their firewalls just ruin it for me .

+1 good pvp tactic. Sometimes it's knowing these little things that will determine who wins the pvp in an even match. It's not just mash buttons to win all the time.

Well, nukers shouldnt be in firewall in first place, since they need to mix up statuses (bleed atleast - I heared it doesnt pass holyword anymore, is that true?), with KD/Stabs and nukes to achieve their full potential in PvP.
Nuker who lets Warrior spamming DD can end lying on ground fast (crit or two sometimes is enough). After snow shield ends, Nuker will most likely be dead - thats where the retreating part comes in, if Warrior retreats / switch to cleric (or whatever sub he has), that eats time for nuker to kill.
But yeah, this technique should definetally be used against bladers.
