I actually liked SGA, though I didn't catch the last oen or two seasons, maybe that's when it started going downhill though.

But yeah, nothing can replace old SG-1 in my heart  I was very excited when I unlocked the P-90 on cod4 just because I fell in love with it from SG-1 :P

Stargate should have been done a long goddamn time ago.

Now it's just a vehicle for making new bullshit that hardly relates to the original movie.

"Stargate was a movie?!"

Yes, yes it was.

And they did a great job (IMO) getting a Daniel look alike for the series.

Speaking of Daniel, my first day of class at my new college, I found out there's a guy in about three of my classes named Daniel Jackson, it's awesome.

This looks shit, i think Stargate: voyager will be rubbish...sorry i mean
Universe. because this show is NOTHING like voyager

Because Voyager is a spin off show in which a group of humans get stuck
on the other side of the galaxy with no way back, facing a journey that
will take several generations.
Where as SG:U is a spin off show in which a group of humans get stuck
on the other side of the galaxy with no way back, facing a journey that
will take several generations.

wait....but....ummm...ohhh, forget i said anything :P

From what I've seen so far it's going to be a drama. Like BSG, which was also shit.

So yeah.. prepared to be very disappointed.

SG-1 was godlike, SGA was good.. but the last few episodes were just stupid.

Pretty much my stance. I own every season of SG-1 and only the first two of SGA, it got kinda ridiculous.

BSG shitty? I beg you pardon?
BSG raised the standards of sci-fi.

It was so bad imo.. lol.
Oh so fake, riddled with drama, just terrible. Keep the drama in soaps, and the pew pew in scifi tyvm

ok
1) its not scifi anymore its syfy because it makes more sense. I dont understand why people think scifi is closer to science fiction than syfy is, but anyway...(yes its a joke)

2) i agree with you, there was a ton of drama that watered it down, yet I thoroughly enjoyed it

I completly loved SG-1, but then when i saw the first episode of SGA I was like "no". i saw 10 min of it and didnt rly like it at all, so i guess it'll just be the same with this new one. I rather stay with good old SG-1 than watching those new stuff.

at first I was like wut :\ but then I was like O ;o
I don't have that channel.. I meant the genre scifi, not the channel.
http://spacecast.ca/ sadly they were about 2 years behind in SGA so I had to watch em online, lol.

Hopefully SGU will be as good as SG-1.
SGA was ok but the only good episodes were the ones with the epic battles vs the Wraith.
