Ok after takeing a closer look it seem that the updater and the servers are in the same ip range and the exact same port.. for atlest My server Alps. and i assume all the other. thats very wierd to me.
I'm really sorry i dident think it was set up like that you can play but you will al be playing threw thos proxys and it will be really really slow. if you can find your self a good/fast socks5 your good to go tho
Just add a new rule for the sro_client.exe and leave ip and port to all and it should work.
Again i'm really sorry atlest you can get updated and maybe open a shop or something.

Koda, please ignore him. I really appreciate you posting all this. Even though it hasn't worked for me yet, at least you tried to help. Thanks.

Ok this part i am confused with
Options -> Proxification Rules -> Proxiffy Only the following + manually Proxified -> Click Add -> Applications -> Click Add Point it to your Silkroad.exe
What do you mean Click Add Point it too your silkroad.exe
And i deleted SRO cause i was having trouble with Spyware, and i had too reboot and System Restore my computer
So i know SRO website is still down, where can i go too download SRO again too get this too work
thanks

FileFront is alot better than FilePlanet you don't have to sign up and 99.9% of the time you don't even have to wate in line.
You go point it to the exe on your hard drive (the install should be c:/program files/silkroad/silkroad.exe) i dident put that because not everyone would have installed in the same place.

sounds silly but make sure you don't have caps lock on wile typeing user name and password. no reason that i can see that proxy would cause a bad uname/password error.
