When I was playing I bought around 200-300 silk in my 3 year gaming experience.

If I ever started again I'd only buy enough silk for a silver prem. The rest of the crap I can live without.

Too new on the game to actually spend money on silk (imo). I'd only buy it so I could get on the damn servers

Silkroad is a waste of money only if you felt buyers remorse after all the silk purchase you made. You define what is a waste and what isn't. Not what others think.
