The problem behind your quite editing lies solely on one thing: perspective. No one can define "fugly" as each person has their own interpretation of what attractiveness is, as well as their own reasons for thinking that opinion. Do you have to be pretty to be in a relationship? Well, no. Not classically pretty, anyway. If someone sees you as beautiful, despite what the entire world may think, than that's all that counts. And it's the individuals reasons for thinking such a person is pretty (a reflection of their appearance, close bonds of friendship drawing them together, inner love ) that is the most important thing. You look at someone and see someone who is "fugly". Yet someone in love looks at them and thinks they are beautiful, despite their flaws which others concentrates on.

I pity anyone who feels such an emphasis on looks to be the ground basis of a relationship. Since when did people become so shallow? It's like emotions have been thrown right out the window, here.
