Really? I'd ask my overweight history teacher to come here and write a brilliant essay to you explaining the problems he gets, but too bad he doesn't speak English.
But from what I can see;
Sweating faster
Smelling more
getting tired faster
disturbing others in seats
inability to jump
being made fun of
more dependency on other people
hard time getting through small places
weight problems in elavators, park rides, etc...
and last but most importantly, health problems.
I mean that's all I've observed from others but I'm sure there could be more.
Oh in regards to functionality, health and general mobility issues there are definite problems that come from being overweight and these issues really can't be ignored. But the nature of this thread was mocking the physical appearance of someone who is overweight. So the basis of my post refereed to the image side of someone who is overweight. Does it really matter
physically if they are overweight? If they are content with their appearance then that's all that matters, not everyone cares too much about what others think of their appearance.
I do agree with you that there are health implications that occur by being over weight. My sister is very large and had some issues with her first born baby (luckily it all turned out ok, I have a beautiful nephew and niece) and I know she will have other health issues in her life if she doesn't fix up her weight. If this thread was about the health implications of being overweight I would of posted a different post, of course. But this is more in reference to simply appearance. While I myself wouldn't be too content with looking overweight, many people don't care and see it as some what of a petty issue. More power to them I say.
I dunno, to some it doesn't, to some it does. I don't really find it appealing to see someone learn over or lean back and have like 3 rolls flop out under their shirt... if anything it's kinda nauseating...
If you're big, act like a big person. Don't wear tight clothing or smaller clothing in an attempt to feel better but it just ends up making ur flab roll out of some screwed up places.
It's like a skinny person wearing baggy clothing. Looks stupid/disgusting.
