Ok so tell me what to do...

I've spent so much time in this game and was naive enough to believe it's all fair and square. I ended up seeing so many botters everywhere, I tried to kill them without any success, they just wouldn't attack you anymore, whether you're pink or red.
Trade bots, XP bots ... just so many of them. I think i'm just giving up on this game. Unless ... legit players can beat the bot ones. Is it possible? I mean there's no point playing if you can't beat the bots.

So my question: If i wanna be good in this game... is it possible without botting? Or i really need to bot? I just can't stand the fact that i have to work my @ss off to get XP and some guys just sleeping while lvling up.

If you are asking yourself that questionat all, I suggest you quit now.

Ppl in the real world steal, cheat and murder. Do you often have a moment when you consider doing those things because "they" are? Is the alternative suicide? That sounds ridiculous, I know.

So does your post. Pleople play legit because that is the kind of person they are.

OK then ... since i have silks left in my account... I'll go to Red Sea and start a new Guild ... It'll be called AntiBotters....anyone wanna join me let me know....

the thing about most botters is... THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. so yes, you can kick their ass, cuz they have no clue how to use tactics, etc.

I am new to SRO but have played a long time in another online game and every game has its problems with cheaters and bug abusers and bots.

And the main thing you really have to ask yourself is ... why do you play?

Is it to have fun and do the best you can do? If that is the reason, and it should be ... then the stupid people with the bots don't matter at all. They are really cheating themselves out of learning how the game really works and truely mastering it.

Feel sorry for them.

MMO games are all grinding, with some sort of PVP, everyone knows that. The game attracts you at first, but you stay for the people. If I didn't have my guild, I would quit this game without hesitation.

simple answer yes it will take time, why is it the xi'an's leading guilds are legit? btw botters dont bother me 2 so much cuz im sort of a neutral player on my server once im farmed ill just dress as n00b and walk around jangan and play the game with new friends hidign the fact im lvl 70 farmed and make them think im lvling with them the whole time =p

lol dude just a game. If you like to play then play. I dun really care bout botters. I just Ks them and take their drops if I happen to see them around.

Botters win due to 24 hour shifts.

But if you want all of your dignity like most of us, be legit.

guess that on Xian, botters aren't being tolerated by the socalled "legit" players. But on other servers, they were high-lvl first, and therefore it's their reign.

I'd have to agree...botting makes the levels, not the character. The pesron behind the keyboard i what makes the character a success or not, as others haev mentioned. Yes, it's frustrating that you are "stuck" behind the screen, grinding away for countless hours on end while others go to work, school, parties, etc, and come back to a character that's passed you in levels and sp. But I suppose what it comes down to is that definition of being "stuck" behind the madness. If you honestly feel that you are stuck grinding instead of enjoying the game itself, then yes, I'd agree that it's time to take to doing soemthing else. I got that way and took a month or so off. I do view the game and others in the game differently than I did before. I think it's human nature to succeed at wht we do, be it a game, business, personal life, etc and it's frustrating (sometimes because of jealousy or possible ethics) when others put forth a half-ass effort and surpass you. It's annoying. But who is actually going to have something to offer a guild or (I hate using the SRO terms) gaming experience for your own personal enjoyment?

What is all boils down to is - it's a game and is meant to be enjoyed by the players. If you aren't enjoying it, then find nother game.

Well, alot of poeple say online game each have it own problem. But don't take their word for it you need to go play dif game and come back to SRO and decide if SRO is worth it for you. Why don't you try WoW?also don't get lure by "free" game, go try a pay game you will be amaze at how much u spend vs service i spend enough on this so called "free" game for 2 year worth of Wow card . heheh but no more i stop buying silk xD

Kill botters using NPC thief provided you're strong enough. If they don't attack or attack the thief, they will still die anyway

Yup.

Besides, on other servers, Babel at least, the botters outnumber the legit at least 10:1. There isn't much we can do against bots / ccf. If you wanna cry and get mad over it, why stress over a game. Just stay for the fun, no point in playing if you are gonna get upset.

on venice its worse

all the powerhouses botted from 1-70 and all botted their sp too

im not saying that there are no legit players, there are. but on venice, in the wide scheme of things, botters outnumber legits like 20:1 probably more... =(

I don't even bother wondering about how many people bot.
Nor do I really care ~.~
Sometimes when i'm bored I get a few of them killed (sp farmers) with npc thieves or summin ..
The only people that sometimes really do annoy me are the kids who feel the need to spam scams using globals. "Selling silk blablabla".
I'm just having fun with friends and they are the only ones in this game that do matter.
Can't play it at all atm, but oh well... spending more time in clubs, working on my car more now
The car is coming together quiet nicely! Been at it since march now ~.~
I still remember the day that it still was a stock s2000.... pretty vague tho !

oh let me remind you, we play this game not to be the best, not to be the strongest, but to have FUN! tons and tons of FUN...

ok so its really get mad if bot ks you and very annoying when they spam selling gold

Don't play the game to be good at the game. Play the game to play the game. Levels are a reward for the time you've played, but it's what you do in that time that matters.

u are completely wrong ur telling me that all the lvl 80 botters with full sun (im not saying everyone with full sun is a botter) dont know what they are doing? i cant belive that sorry

You can be good without botting, its just harder, or actually normal and just easier with botting lol, especially since so many others bot.


Capped full sun bots might know how to play and stuff, but I think the point is legit is more experienced, not that it really matters when they have all that lol.
