Considering the earth or humanity isn't destroyed in 1000 years, what do you guys think the average life expectancy will be in a 1st world country/ third world country.
Will 20 be young? or will technology have improved so much that someone in their 50's will be considered young.

Well its kinda hard to say 1000 years in the future. Honestly in 1000 years im expecting science to come up with a way to stop aging so in that sense everyone would be young.

i think that after a much shorter period than 1000 years immortality will exist , but only for your brain

death is always caused by a fail in some parts of your body
if they can be replaced with another artificial ones you'll have much longer life

now there's already a step into this , by the time it will happen
but it won't be a good thing for overpopulation , so this won't be available to everyone

young will be the defenetion of the full human party with nothing artificial

well in some places in the world the life expectancy is still like 50 years old. in a hundred years the life expectancy would prolly be around 150/100 (1st world/3rd world) based on a healthier living.

that or everyone wud be half robots and we wud be livin in mars or somethin

Life expectancy is partially genetic so it probably won't increase much unless we create cyborgs or something. In 1000 years I think 40 may be the new 20, but it probably won't go beyond that.

not to be rude, but who cares, that's the future, what we all can talk about that is important is how to prevent hemorrhoids.

Well during the medieval ages the life expectance was close to 30-35years. Now it is 67 years. So at the rate we are going 30-40 will be the new 18-20. Immortality doesn't necessarily mean that you will be young forever (it could though), it just means you life forever and age at the same time. So its possible...

Humans die in the 120-130s. That's as far as a natural body can go. Passed that, your body can't keep up with the repair costs and you degrade. It's our genetic expiry date.

I'm sure eventually they could extend that artificially, but I don't see why.

I want to die one day, I will need to rest. Living every day until the end of time takes away from what it means to live.

And there will come a day when the novelty wears off and age sets in. Where life will not be about living, but waiting for death. I don't want that. I want to die healthy and sane, where I can appreciate my last moments and willfully take my last breath.
