Anything that makes it feel more like BF1942 and BF:V (BF2 wasn't bad but not the best) and i'll be extremely happy.

I like BC2 but it doesnt compare to the real BF games.

^That leads me to ask, is it going to have a subscription fee of some kind since it won't be on Steam and then EA won't be getting commissions for that?

Dice said that they would be releasing something like Call of Duty elite (which im guessing is battlelog) and that it, unlike Elite would be 100% free, no charges at all.

Dice isn't activision, they arent gonna make you pay for better stat/etc/recognization.

And it looks like a core part of the game guessing its in the game itself so its like a facebook came to steam overlay for battle field3.

Im ready.

The only thing you will be buying most likely

Game:
Potential expansion.

Those specs are probably BS.
Some game retailer made some random specs up and just put them on their website, and those specs look oddly familiar to me.
Other than that , there was a podcast recorded about a week ago with one of the Community managers of Dice. He mentioned that they won't release the specs until they are 100% sure that they are final, and i doubt that will be happening before september.

If those are from the official BF3 website then i beg my pardon, otherwise i wouldn't take these as a reference for hastly buy a new PC.

A video of Battlelog analysis for you guys.

Spoiler!

Also, apparently BF3 will be released on EA's own platform known as Origin rather than Steam.

They are looking to add ambient destruction in Multiplayer, so we may get random earth quake occurances!

Son of a.. I'd prefer to keep everything in one program library or just launch the game itself. Thank god Origin isn't stupid and allows me to launch the game without Origin after installed. Or so I've heard with Alice.

Highly doubtful unless EA agrees to not break their contract with Steam. Though I don't remember what they broke.. but whatever. I'm lazy to look it up. Instead EA thought that this was a great idea to launch Origin.

Origin is actually just a way for EA to retain it's Money. They sold over 3million more digital copies via steam than physical games. They don't lose a commission fee to steam by selling digital copies via origin. Bottom line, they want more money and they also want more people playing their games.

But i bet more ppl is willing to buy from steam than their new origin, so i don't see how switching over completely would get them much more money. i think more ppl are prob gonna buy from amazon or physical stores

Up until they announce that Origin is offering the best bonus DLC.

Except it's still available to many other digital stores. The entire thing kinda seems pointless. What I see is EA trying to advertise Origin for the future to do as you say keep it's money.

Right now it seems like an extra software that people would have to run along side with Steam, but I do hear that you do not have to run Origin besides the original launch. Which is a good thing.. I guess.
