Ah awesome, that's what I hoped weapon level stood for.
I'm excited to see how that works.

It's in Dutch so yeah. It basically says that you can now lvl up your weapons just like your character. But unlike your character where you unlock new weapons, you will unlock 'perks' for that specific gun. A.k.a. the proficiences. It promotes using one gun alot longer. I don't really see that as a good thing but who knows =] Also the new killstreak system is more clear to me now. I can try to explain if anyone wants.Basically: You choose between I believe 3 options, maybe it was 4. One, is support kill streaks, they don't reset if you die, but they're more for helping your team overall, uav, cuav, maybe carepackage, are the type of stuff you can get in it. Another, is a bit more pure offensive, resets every time you get to your third killstreak, but also resets if you die. Another doesn't take very many kills to get the killstreaks at all, but those are pro perks. Was there another option? I don't remember.

Only 3.
And it seems like an interesting system, I like how they still manage to come up with new and innovative stuff.

Pretty sure that the third one was like an 8 kill-streak, and you unlock all the pro version of the perks you are using. Only one that doesn't reset when you die is option 2, which are the ones beneficial to your team. Option 1 is the air support one.

Not sure how it's set up with pointstreaks but with the 3rd one you unlock extra perks, not pro versions o.o Maybe it doesn't even have a 'killstreak' list unless you can choose which perks you want to unlock at what pointstreak. I'll probably be running the support one most often.

Having up to 6 pro perks doesn't sound appealing?

Tejb uploaded a vid showing most of the proficiencies (sp?)/perks and a big amount of killstreaks (well all of them, just not all the descriptions). I could make a list if anyone wants it xD

I'll get the list. You can probably find it online too haha... Anyways, the only thing I really want is gametypes like halo has. Like sniper only lobbies and stuff like that. Also the custom gametypes through CoD Elite service could be pretty cool if they can be played in like a community playlist. Well this saved me a ton of time: http://www.mw3perks.com/Got pretty much everything, just no proficiencies.

In Aus, it costs $70 to pre-order.. I'm partly confused, seeing as MW2 cost about $120 for atleast a year...

So everyone heard about the prestige shop? If you prestiged on Cod 4/WaW/MW2 and/or Black Ops you will get tokens in advance which will be a nice advantage :] Only one per game though so 4 is the max. Probably going to the midnight launch next week. /Edit: Heard some nice things, first off: A pic with all the camo names in MW3, you can figure out how they look from the name on most of them, some will be a surprise (2nd to last is the one you see in most trailers and is similar to fall camo in MW2. On top of that I just saw a video by Tmartn where he explained the 'buy gear' option in the prestige shop. It basically means you can buy any weapon/perk or equipment and have it unlocked at the next prestige. But it's not only unlocked for that specific prestige, you will keep it with you all the way to max lvl. So if you choose to buy the lvl 80 gun after you prestiged for the first time you will have it at any given level or prestige for as long as you play o_o Same goes for perks/equipments ofcourse. You will unlock a stock weapon and non pro perk version though so you will have to unlock everything again. Also it's the same for the custom class slots even though that seemed obvious to me, they are also permanent.

You get 12 months of CoD Elite, with everything that comes with it. You save some decent money, unfortunately, it's sold out on most of the cheaper places, and I'm not buying it here for farking 100€.
