Yeah a hell lot less traders now, in fact barely any. All they needed to do was lower the hp of trans/reduce hp pot recovery ( i think it was like traders could pot through the dmg)
At that time there werent many thieves, but now theres like a hell loads of thieves every day. Dodge the thieves = make money imo..and its not really hard for the thieves, just camp the 2 ferries for the most part. you just stand near the city's trade center and wait for trades to come. infact i was about to change jobs to theive just so i could get some easy $$ from the amount of people i saw solo trading), but then too many people QQ, people change to thieves, no traders, safezone camp jobwar in JG south is about it

Instead of just making trans killable by actual thieves (lower hp), and maybe increasing the $$ thieves get (say, like 1: .9 ratio for goods bought or something), they made a whole lot of mindfcking changes. and thieves QQing about making an easy 3-4m from killing a solo trade. like really?

Havent been trading in a loonngg time, just cause of the amount of thieves i see hanging around (like you need a whole party of hunters for them)- atleast when im on.

I don't really see why people are so horribly upset about the update. Shouldn't cause a problem, assuming you have a smart hunter. And if you don't, well then I suppose that makes the smart hunters out there all that more valuable.

I dont understand why ppl qq about xlargepots. I have fire/ice nuker and if i start attacking trade at ht ferry, i cant kill solo trader with npc thieves. And 4* or 5* arent suppose to do alone.

Its not so horrible, but its indeed difficult. Wiz + 2 Nukers guarded 3 5* yesterday, was tough, but you just have a lot more to do is all. Even got hit by a player thief. but we won, thanks to #'s :)

You do a 3* now and get what you used to make as a 5*, its not that ridiculous. Just made it so if you do a 4-5* its now Way more profit, but way more difficult.

No one was QQing about x-large pots not being there. Until they increased the dmg of the npc thieves. like i said, they should have removed xpots and lowered the hp of the silk trans by some, so it would be possible for thieves to kill them. the changes should have stopped there. but no, thieves had to QQ about solo 5* trades which were basically sitting ducks. But now they dont QQ anymore cause theres no traders to rob, lol
And if you were any smart, you would have tried ice imbue to slow/freeze there trans while the npc thieves attacked/they ran out of pots. the hp goes down hell fast when the trans is just sitting there, esp. with the 2x spawns (this was before the dmg increase)

I guess i'll try 3*s, though there are a hell lot of thieves now.

I used ice imbue, but they have pills and if they have like 1k pots, they dont run out of them.

Got my warrior to 70 in a little less then 2 days soloing about half way lol. So now ive got my warrior and bower both at 70, underfarmed and in clean 8d gear. I'll probably be on my warrior most of the time and play on my bower whenever.

A friend of mine isn't able to start the game, he says the Launcher stays idle after pressing the Start button.

Have him post on the forums, or check their FAQs about it in the help area before posting. Should hopefully be an easy fix. If he has all the updated files make sure he's running from sro_client (think thats the right one of the two). better off asking there though :)

Will be better then Egy at first when its clean, but EGY will be stronger when actually blued out. Ger Slayer just reads every 3 words or so in a sentence, dont blame him.

im really loving jobbing - crazy to think that this is what the game is about and im enjoying it 5years into playing the game :D. I guess in the long run Fly's changes helped create group jobbing. And pvping against thieves in jobsuit (not in east gate jobwar or something, but in actual trades), unheard of since i started this game till now :D
