Me neither. But at lesat now you can make "normal" trades without having to reach job lvl 71 first, which is great. The fact that we can now gain ordinary EXP while jobbing is a good thing as well. I doubt, however, that these changes will increase job activity. But we'll see.
Oh yeah, and too bad for those who played at Genesis. Even though silk will get refunded, it must kinda suck.

They had 2x the rates when it was paid, considering that the silk will get refunded, they basically paid nothing for 2x. Lol'd at how the level 1 target trading vehicle has 87k hp Tried target trading once, got 4 blue stones and 2 tickets, not bad.

Never understood the whole blue stone / socket system thing. Probably because I never really tried it out myself. So I wouldn't know if it's worth anything. And 2 tickets for what`?

Socket system is good. But the job crafting system is dumb imo. People wanted the old system back. The biggest difference between those two systems is that the old one had traders, and was gold based(which trading really should be and originally was about). JoyMax just don't understand. I knew this would happen.

That is one complex system.
What I still don't get is this. You're saying the Socket systme is great, but isn't the socket system part of the new job system? Like, you get what you need for the socket items via the job system?

I don't know how it is in SROR, but the last time i used sockets it was like this. First you buy the recipe from the goods shop, then you buy Magic Stone of Sockets from the same place and add sockets to your weapon or chest through the socket tab in alchemy. Then you gather materials for the socket stone. Those are elements, the degree depends on the grade of the stone you're making. Then you open up the crafting window and make the socket stone you wish. Then you go back to the sockets tab in alchemy and add the socket stones. The level of the stone is randomly chosen at the moment of fusing. You can add 3 stones to your weapon and 2 stones(though you can make 3 sockets to it) to your chest. Jobbing gives you materials to craft job equipment though.

Well, that's not how I understood it from the guide on the link from The_Invisible.
But alright, sounds pretty neat. So basically you don't need to do anything but buy the elements and you're good to go? No jobbing included? I should probably start doing it then. What are some of the advantages these stones can give?

What are some of the advantages these stones can give? They are more like emergency buffs. Some increase your hp poll by 50% for 15-20 seconds. Others restore 50-70% of your hp (like a giant hp pot). Others give you some percent for ignoring using mp with skills (like you don't use mp on 1 skill every 10 or something). There are a few more types but i don't remember them.

What are some of the advantages these stones can give? Yea, only elements and some gold is what you need. Forgot to mention that along with elements you need a stone that you can buy from the goods store(something like Artisan's Stone i think). A must have socket imo is the Stone of Recovery. It has 5 levels instead of 3 that any other one has and it's very helpful. IIRC I have Recovery, Concentration, parry increase, max HP increase and max MP increase(dunno how the last 3 are called). It's best to use first the HP increase one and then Recovery since Recovery heals by a percentage and then you'll have loads of HP and it will be full.

Job trading would be fine... but if it ain't for gold... I don;t think it would be that interesting.

I'll definitely have to look into this whenever I have some time
