Nope...sadly =/ it isn't..
It's caused by the gameguards interference in sro game engine i believe
and i hope they notice the problem soon and fix it :P
but i don't believe they will in some time T.T

it doesn't flow, it stutters >.<" but u can stall on it easy and
there isn't any lag even on highest details (not at peak times though)
The only problem is that annoying deadlock and vpu-recover saving the day
....I heard something about SRO has some weird resolutions :S so all
screens don't support it or something like that
but i might be getting something non-embarrassing soon
b-day coming soon and all :P I'm hoping for a core 2 duo and the nv80+ gfx card :D

Try turning off water reflections first.
If it really is a gameguard problem i can get you a patch to disable gameguard.

I use AMD, its fast and cheap. I just have an athon xp 1700+ (bought this 3 years ago) w/ 768MB 333Mhz DDR mem and a geforce 6600GT 256MB video card (bought it recently). I'm running SRO with everything on High at 1024x768 resolution (that's the best i can do on this 3 yr old system :D ). I only use circle on my shadow settings though.

Have you tried reinstalling your OS to see if it might be causing the problem?
