ok
reason this is going in here, because nobody ever goes on technical help
so here i go
its never done this befor, but after loading gameguard
it says this: connecting to gameguard failed. try again later or try ajusting personal firewall settings
ill post a screenie if anyone tells me how
topic closed, proccess guard was blocking the gameguard update :d

your firewall is blocking the port(s) that Game guard uses to update/authenticate itself.

Yeah I think that too, just check the settings of it (program controll or something should be it) and adjust the settings so that he'll let Gameguard work.

i dont see why it would
firewall settings havent been messed with, and its never done this before.

Hi,
Ru using Norton by any chance?? If yes, Norton or couple of antivirus blocks the ports which is assigned for games....
Uninstall ur antivirus and try the game... but im not responsible for ur virus on ur comp
All te best....
PS - I try to reply on Technical Help section.. mods can move tis across there..

Not uninstall but just disable it........or go to control panel >security center
Off firwall and automatic updates.

im using avg
and bit defender
ill check to see if the firewall settings have been changed, but it might just be a fauk, as it was working perfectly the day before

im not administrator o i wont be able to turn it off for a moment, but ill get mi dad to disable it

i checked, and its not being blocked on the list of exeptions, in fact, its not even there
