Any way we can have one associated to SRF nicks like chat was?
Or a dedicated channel / location?
If it costs $, thats not an issue
Remember were running on a dedicated apache server, we can install stuff on

that, i've no clue about.
on the freenode clusters you could register a channel, then have 'chanserv' stay in it, it kept the topic title sturdy when it was locked and auto voices/ops people.
I wouldnt know how to go about making our own irc server, that would be cool though

quakenet does exactly the same. As we speak, the chanserv: 'L' is in the #silkroadforums channel. Which does the same you described

I got an IRC server running, i got IRCOP on it.. If u like we can start a chan on it.. U can get some access?

id seriously recommend just using quakenet though, from what ive experienced with running own irc servers, they dont stay up long.

The software is free, Ive ran one many times. Ive spent far to much time on irc rofl. Almost 5 years o.o lolz but ya if you want some info msg me msn

Yeah.... what I mean is you have to be carefull what version of mirc you use, because some have trojans in them ~_~ but that sucks as for changing your ip, depends on if you have a static ip or not =\ if so ~_~.... can't change ip =/
