New, New Highest Dmg Contest.

Since the others are apparently dead(never updated), and i'm always here lol, might as well do it again ;p.

Welcome to the new Highest Damage Contest.

This contest is about dealing the greatest damage in iSRO!
There are 2 categories and 11 sub categories: Chinese: Glaive, Bow, Blade, Int, Hybrid. And European: Warrior, Rogue, Bard, Cleric, Wizard, Warlock.

How does it work:
First Login. Start nuking, hitting, slapping, mobbing, whatever, and try to do the highest damage you've ever done. At the moment you hit hard, try to take a screenshot by pressing print-screen (located next to F12). A screenshot is necessary to compete. Remember to be fast though, so the damage count won't disappear. You could also try to record ingame, with a program such as Fraps, and cut out the exact frame.
Notice: Only screenshots with name, level and damage count will be accepted for competition.

Next step is to post it. First you should host the image, on a site like tinypic.
Post it here, in a message like this: [img]Your%20image%20url[/img].
For the love of god when you upload a screenshot just put the direct link, it's annoying scrolling and clicking screenshots =.=.

Ok, due to the fact i'd rather just copy and paste, just have this:

1. Name Dmg(like DarkJackal 1,337).
2. Glaive/Bow/Blade/Int/Hybrid for Chinese and Warrior/Rogue/Wizard/Warlock/Bard/Cleric for Europe and which Lv cup.
3. Screenshot.

A couple notes, no dmg scrolls or buffs from other players are allowed, like cleric buffs, unless ur the cleric buffing yourself I guess >.>. Trigger scrolls and other hit ratio buffs are allowed since it doesn't actually effect dmg.

If there is any problems I missed(wrong names/screenshots or w/e) just reply and lemme know. Also if this doesn't get updated for a long while then i'm probably gone, but i'll be back sooner or later.

I got a really big / good suggestion. Make it so that there is a 1-handed weapon area and 2-handed weapon area.

2 handed = Bows, Glaive, Spear

1 handed = Sword, Blade

Maybe it would just be better for each weapon to have its own catagory.

Umm, that's the same thing but more detailed. I mean for like 1x Two-Handed 1x One-Handed........I don't know, you do whatever is more comfortable

maybe dark but i would stil argue the hybrid section is too rounded
there is 1:1 hybrid's, str hybrid and int hybrid all have different damage range

No, I don't think so. I like it the way it is. Specific wep categories is just too complicated for a simple dmg contest.

Here's my entry, it never got recognized in the old dmg contest. I think it'll get me 2nd place for 4x Hybrid.

Anyone every try with some extra help? Like find someone who uses the force skill that lowers parry ratio for 10 seconds. Have them cast that on w/e you're killing...probably mangyang :roll:

It's not much but it could increase your dmg somewhat

lol nice thread, let's try and keep it going. I'll have a new dmg test tonight, it was suggested that the dmg is capped at 65k though when me and Hydrate were trying for higher.
