i work on GMT time, i work full time, spend up to 1 hour of an evening when i got free time logging into SRO to use my 4 week gold ticket and other things i spent money on. get ks'd, have to put up with stupid 10 yr olds spamming original phrases such as 'noob', bots and the constant battle of trying not to get ripped off and hacked etc........i read on the official SRO forums a reply to a similar rant and the reply was that the user should pick another time to play SRO....

i still cant figure out why SRO is so popular and people who have been playing a far longer stretch than myself have continued to put up with this???? its beyond me, i think i may stop playing, thats not what i want of course cos i like SRO. there are many people i like in the communitys and it would be a shame to lose that, but at what point do u say enough is enough?

I think a lot of people find it to be fun, and get addicted to it in a sense. I know for a while I couldn't stop playing, now I don't need to play but still want to.


I'd guess that people should quit when the game isn't fun anymore, what's the point in playing a game if you're not enjoying yourself?

There are a lot of ignorant, and down right stupid people in the game, and the world for that matter, you just have to put up with it and see the silver lining. If the game is still fun to you, think about what makes it fun, and look past the stupid people who seem to play the game for the sole purpose of ruining it for others.

Problem is: more than hlaf the game is built up on the existance of those @SSH013S.

Its not fun But Pvping, Jobbing, Etc is fun ^_^

well european update is certainly something to look forward to, but if the current problems aren't resolved now then what difference is an update going to make?

Last night, i logged on and decided that was NOT going to grind. for the first time in 5 lvls and over 3 months, i put on a thief suit and went out into the fields to take things that didn't belong to me. I thieved for about 3 hours, and i had a BLAST. i got away with nearly every piece of loot i found (sometimes by just buying 500 horse pots and potting the hell out of my bull while some capped glaiver botter beat on it, waiting for my tele to finish. sure, i got killed a few times, mostly by bots, but i actually went out and ENJOYED the game for the first time in a long time. true, the reason i was able to enjoy it was because i have put in a lot of hard work over the past months farming, lvling, and getting stronger, but nevertheless i was very happy with the evening's activities. much love to the BHA for joining me :)

honestly im kinda bored with the game right now, yet i love the game and dont want to quit, hopefully its just a funk im in with lvling. Not sure if my post is OT or not, havnt slept in 26 hours or so lol

thankyou SG! ive considered what you said about the theiving. as a guild leader (not master) and player i always maintained that i wouldnt theif, after gettin popped probably more then the average when i first started out trading. i didnt think it fair how the current trading system works but im seriousley considering throwing away my gracious SRO attitude and finding some poor souls to theif! and especially as theres not much reward for hunting at the moment.....

perhaps the guy is kinda right about the thread i created, maybe if he had gone about commenting in a different way it could have been constructive almost! but if no one expresses how they feel about SRO currently, nothing would ever change.

My last theif i felt guilty afterwards lol for killing the hunter and the trader after he tried to run away, lol so im not going to thief

I'm assuming that was directed at me, and yes, I think leveling is fun. And, why do you find the need to immediately come out with 'zomgz bot!!!'
because I enjoy a game?
Leveling is fun because I make it fun, I go do it with friends, chat, take a few breaks and enjoy myself.
I'm not level 80 yet, and I'm only level 55 right now, but I assume that if I don't find playing the game (as leveling is part of the game) fun, then I would stop playing it or find a way to make it enjoyable again.


I would think botting would make the game less fun, rather than more fun.

SRO is a black hole. U fall in, see the finish line (80 cap) think its not so far away. Find out it is but your already in the hole. no escape the addiction GOT YA ^^

its a cheater free world
the pvp is fun

actually i still play cuz of friends
its hard to find a job war fun when u fight lvl 80 full sosun/farmed/botted char
but i am already at lvl 77 and i will hit 80 and probaly sell my char and move to a decent mmorpg

lol, I'm not addicted. I can see the finish line but from here to there is farther then the starting line to where I am now. I play because I want to, not because I need too

the problem you might be refering to is with the bad parts of the playing community, not the game

enough is when you play and then not have fun and/or not enjoying the game
