what are some of the first stones i should use and focus on im going to be a full str btw

This is a sos bow drop I just got grinding on chakjis on my noob. Lucky too cause it is a lvl 20 archer, 4 more lvls and i can use it. No alchemy has been done, it dropped with those blues

My sos 16 bow had 3str 3int on the drop also. It had 30% dura to add to that.

#1, STR.
#2, Challenge
#3, Strikes (jade, obviously)

After that you could try increasing the physical attack power, but be prepared to spend money and time on it, ruby tabs suck. Dura is always nice too, especially if you're farming. I wouldn't waste time trying to get just 1 more INT if you're pure STR because of the risk of assimilation. Especially if you get a good crit before then.

i thought monsters cannot drop items higher lvl than they are...

Seals are different though. One time a union mate found a 67 protector sos head at a yeti.

I was lvl 20 and grinding on chakjis when i got the drop, why would I be lieing about it lol?

I found lvl 27 sos armor (some piece of it) can't remember which one exactly. on a Chakji Worker and i was like WTF?!!?! too.

But guess it's possible

found a 8th blade at penon fighter~ but nice bows though

since u are farming at the den (i assume), the crit is that important. id up the str/int and the phy/mag atk before the crit.

mobs drop sos stuff that is the same degree or a degree higher
i remember back in the day farming at bandits, i got some 3rd degree stuff and a lvl 24 shield...

some friends of mine got 8th degree sos drops at penons and sonars... and one got a 7th degree sword at penons.. so sos drops are more of a range... not sure how the range works for som/sosun tho.. but i'm not sure i've seen a som drop that's higher than the mob. I could well possibly be wrong. sosun, from what i've heard, only comes from mobs higher than the item. my friend picked up a lvl 1 sosun ring from bandit archers...


oh.. and re: stones for the bow

i'd have to say durability is the MOST useful for a lvl 16 farming bow... even if you're lacking on a bit of the str/int bonuses... nothing sucks more than having to repair really soon after getting to the den. I've farmed a few times with a 110 durability bow until it was down to 1....
