That is my question: What do u lose as a theif trying to kill a trader?

When you die or?....?

You lose something like .05% (depends on lvl) and you lose some of your ego

You lose thief exp...

you lose your dignity! integrity! you lose everything you had as a thief-- now you're nothing but a loser in a thief suit.

plus some exp.

0.5% is a lot at higher lvls.

I thought it goes down as you level up as regular deaths do as well.

And you have a chance to drop something on death. I get lots of capes and suits from noobs that die

Really at any level, you lose a minimal %, as long as you have a suit on whether it be hunter/trader/thief. Now withOUT a suit on, you can lose up to 3+% which really blows sometimes... But no, you don't lose any items if you die as a thief... Hope this helps

i lose 3k EXP and 100 thief exp at lvl 37 when i die

My guildmate was a hunter today, and his monkey picked up a GDF ... so a thief must have dropped it.

(And the in-game help says that you can drop items when dieing except during cape-PvP.)

What a thief does loose is the time taken to rez in town and then ride back to where he was trying to thieve. If he already had some loot in an horse/camel then this might have been stolen by someone else before he gets back too.
