Have you done any PK2 editing? If so, overwrite the file with your backup (assuming you made one).
Otherwise, try a reinstallation.

Under Vista, try putting the silkroad.exe into Windows XP SP2 compatability mode.
I think the BSLib error may be related to your graphics adapter. Do you have the most current drivers?

Type "dxdiag" (without quotes) in the Run... dialog box from the Start Menu.
From there you should see a tab that says display. Click on it and it will tell the graphics chipset.
You could also try going to Microsoft Update and doing a "Custom" scan for updates. A lot of times there are drivers there provided by Microsoft and that may help the problem (assuming it is graphics related).
Did you restore the PK2 file from a backup, or did you do a reinstall? And if you reinstalled, did you redownload the newest version of the client?

You can paste your info here, sure.
The links to the two biggest graphics chipset manufacturers are:
nVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html
ATI: http://ati.amd.com/
Be advised that if you have a notebook computer, you may have to go the manufacturer for the correct graphics driver.

Ok, I've looked around and have seen other people having this same problem but have not found any solution for it.
Let me make sure of a few things:
1) You are still getting the error after uninstalling, re-downloading, and re-installing?
2) You are running Silkroad as an administrator?
3) I noticed that your total video memory is 377MB (which is an odd value and not a power of 2). Do you have a video card, or is your video built into the motherboard? If possible, try changing the shared video amount to a value that is a power of 2, such as 256MB or 384MB.

It all depends on your computer as to how to set up the shared video memory, if in fact your computer has it.
Most systems have a setting in the BIOS - check with your system or motherboard manufacturer for details how to access it (usually F1, F2, or DEL upon booting).
Also, have you tried posting this problem on the General Technical Issues/Bug Reports section of the official forums? It's located at: http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board/bhboard/bh_forum.asp?ForumID=12.
In between all the "ZOMG JOYMAX U SUK" posts, there might be some actual help in there.
Good luck with this, and let us know what happens.

Yeah, I'm not surprised really... this game does need a little bit more support.
What sucks is that when I was researching this problem for you, I saw that other people have had the same issue... but nobody has posted the fix.
Maybe someone who had this problem or who is aware of the resolution will post here?

Jarno120 wrote: Could u check what other ppl did please? Well, that's the problem. I've tried to see what other people did to fix this. A search for BSLib on these forums turns up a few hits, but the people that did get a fix didn't ever post what worked. The lack of a search function on the official forums makes it somewhat useless. Even the old trick of letting Google search for me came up empty handed. If I do find out what fixes it, I will post it here... not just for you but for other people that may have the same problem. Did you ever figure out how to change the video memory? Grim wrote: Wow... All hail numatan...the Computer Fixer.... Lol, I never would have figured out any of that... Good Luck on the fixing..
Aww shucks hehe... Thanks for the good words my friend - I hope that Jarno gets back in the game soon.
