To start with to those who disagree with some of what he's saying here, remember as Rev pointed out, it's a playing style. What makes this game fun for some is different for others.

With that being said, hi_babe_ is 100% correct here imo. I did all my farming early, 9 gapped from start to 42 and finished with 3 gap from 42 to 52 and have been at 0 since. On the one hand having the skills already in place has made leveling very easy, but on the other, as hi_babe_ (..... it man those underscores are a pain in the a$$...im just gonna call u Willy ^^) points out from a purely economic standpoint farming at a high gap at 64+ is a good idea. Reason being that you are getting lots more drops and $ per level then you would otherwise. There were times while I was 9 gapping that I easily could afford full SOS gear and still have plenty of $ left over just from drops alone.

As for this side discussion about jobbing and $, theres no question that grinding is better $ then jobbing. Jobbing is for fun.

And nice guide Willy ^^ Well written from a true veteran of the game.

ok i kindof did misinterpret a lot of things so soz for that :P

except from the part that there is no community action involved i find this guide very interesting and different from the others. id like to try follow it on my new pure int..
is it doable without buying pets and gold ticket? or will this take like 3 times as long? and what gap should we have to keep our skills on a proper level till 64?

it will take like 3 times longer. i really recommend to buy both, or at least the pet, the pet is really helpful for making money and it also help to grind since u don't have to pick up gold/drops from a mob every time. the pet help to have a smooth grinding. the pet is also cheap, just 80 silk the first month then only 47 silk to resurect him.
if you think that you are going to be short on SP just put the main mastery to 55. so from there you can upgrade skills and at lvl 64 you ll have 9 gap. if you are really short on skills then farm a little bit but try to stay at 0 gap or near 0 gap as much as possible at least till 55.

Well, I have to agree that that guide does show a very fast way of grinding and money making.

But why I am playing a game? Right... to have fun. Where is the fun here before you finally hit 80 which will still take several months? I rather take some more time to hit the cap but therefor have sum guildwars, thiefing, hunting whatever...
but seriously, whoever just sits in front of his computer for 3, 4, 5 or many more hours just to grind grind grind and nothing else should think about his life

hunting or thiefing won t help your life neither. as for me i think there are absolutely no fun to job at lvl which is lower than 77 since will be raped by higher lvl players or botters anytime. and the higher lvl u ll be, the higher free slots u ll get in your camel/horse.
i also didn't make a guide named " how to have fun ? ". the fun can be brought by building the char, upgrading him. with my guide the char get stronger everyday with the new gears and new stats points, take about 1 lvl at 30's per day more or less at differents lvls and at 64 the char get a lot of skills. then have to do a few lvl and the player who will be 80 fully farmed and rich will know the real fun playing with a legit char full of skills, having several millions of gold.
grinding in SRO is a important part of the game, if you really get bored while grinding SRO isn't an appropriate game for you.

Thanks for the nice comments Soblu revelle cormac and others :)

HOLY S**T. Simply you could say, quit your job, lock yourself in the room with the comp and play for 20 hours a day. 4 hours of sleep are enough to survive, 1 hour for eating and you drink while you play, come on.

THE GAME IS ABOUT HAVING FUN NOT A RACE WHO WILL GET 80 FASTEST!!!

if you read properly you ll notice that i suggested to play about 3 hours per day not 20.

And if you consider than getting 80 is not fun, that is your point of view. Mine is that jobbing without enough lvls, skills and decent gears is boring.
Without grinding and willingness you aren't going anywhere.
I only make the guide to help the legit players to reach the important goals. Everyone is responsible of his real life, everyone has his points of view of which parts of the game are fun or not.
i didn't make it to hear comments such as " getting to 80 is boring "or " lock yourself in the room with the comp 20 hours per day."

Sounds like a human bot...... :D

This is very interesting and I use some aspects of this in my daily grind but can someone remind me just why I am racing to get to 80? What is the big thing I am going to be able to do then?

Thanks.....and nicely thought out guide.

It has been almost 2 months. I would like to know if you have followed this guide as closely as possible and what level you have reached.

Lol, this guide will make others call you a bot. A fully farmed rich capped player coming out of nowhere? With no social life on sro? Defo a bot ^^.
