Wow this was lame

I'm a long term member from a guild on Athens but i did my first war against another guild tonight. Other times they did war i was not online or not strong enough, but now that i'm 73 i can take part..

But what a waste of time it was.

I need to hear your experience about guild wars else this will be my last one, how it went: It seems the other guild spent 1h or so getting lv80 or sun holders players from their union to join only for the war, they asked us to use no mercs.

We met near DW on a safe zone limit, then when it started we all got outside safe zone, then they waited few min in safe zone probably to make some tactic, when they got ready they raped all the low lvl (including me lv73), and controled the safe zone for a bit.

So we got 2 lv80 to join on our side, killed few of their members (only lv80 seems to help in those war...) but then.. the worse part, their whole guild stayed in safe zone til war ended, that lasted 20 min, we begged them to come outside so we could have some FUN (i mean who really cares about a few mills, most of my guild wanted to war just to have fun pvp) but no they NEVER came out unless with some MERCS at one time even if they were the ones to tell us to not use any.

So yeah they easily won because of the first assault, we should have better regrouped but really we had NO clue they would just hide when they know they have more pts than us.

Bad choice of guild to war? Or is it always like that..

The biggest problem about wars and even pvp in SRO is the huge diff. between levels.
Whatever incredible stuff you wear it's for a level 74 close to impossible to kill a level 80.
If they would make it possible that a good level 70 can kill a crap level 80 then

1. Guild wars and triangular conflict and pvp would be much more interesting.

2. this game would not be based on hitting the cap asap

3. there would be less player bots

My guild and I havent been in any wars yet but I'v watched quite a few, and 100% of them involve one guild or the other getting ahead, then hiding in the safe zone for the duration just to win, then for the next hour or 2 everybody on the server gets to listen to the trash talk the winners express in globals.

and that's why guild wars should last like 24 hours r something. That way even the lowe levels can participate

well you DID import 2 lvl80s, which gives them the full right to stay inside dont they?

they wanted to war your guild and only your guild, not your guild + 2 lvl80s

they imported em after realizing that the other guild did this 2... well, i made quite similar experiences. our last guild war was kinda crap too. there was some 77+ glavier who kept killing me to gain 1 warpoint, telling me he was my lv. i didnt even get ONE 1v1 with someone not fully botted. zZz...

Mine was way WORST than yours, we went out of safe zone to attack the opponant suddenly we dont fight same lvl 50+ instead we fight lvl 80 so we recruited the best lvl 80 in server into our guild and they did that too and we did that and then they did that bla bla most of the real members including master stayed in Safe zone and our opposing guild also stayed in safe zone while other ppl lvl 80 fought the war -.-" the most boring war ever for me but was said the best guild war of the server no body in both guilds played
