i think hybrids suck
their damage is certainly lower than full int nukers or full str glaviers/ bowers, and they use this HUGE amount of mana and healing pots.
and u always see them die.

i like em.

not only because there are hybrid builds that are proven to be strong, but
also because they differ from the pures. and there can be a large variety
of different hybrids, while pures are always pures.

hybrids don`t own and don`t suck either
that is the whole point of going hybrid.

you just choose to be an all rounder you will do nice in everything without the need of amazing gear.
Owning in this game is all about the correct gear not the correct build anyway i don`t know about the other servers but the only hybrid i know with sosun gear is li_ke_xuan on redsea waiting for some friends videos of him doing pvp but he seems to be inactive and rarely online. don`t remember if xmat was pure or hybrid.

wow since when pure str do more damage then an hybrid?

Huge amount of pots? i use less pots with an INT hybrid than i do with a glaiver... both HP and MP. I can take more dmg than a pure INT and not be killed if mobbed when i fight a giant, which happened sometimes with a glaive.

I'm not saying Hybrids are better because i have played pure too, and i know pures are good.

I just like Hybrid better... it fits more my style.

Since this game was created? Average dmg might be higher, but str peaks WAY HIGHER than int or hybrid.

wrong man, hybrids or int do a LOT more dmg than pure str

it is a question of tastes, but imo hybrids (especialy int hybrids) rulz in sro ^^... they makes a equilibrium between tanking and dmg

one of the best builds leveling, they do it well in pvp, letals in wars and also, they are goods in uniques hunting

He's saying that a Pure STR, using a weapon skill, still Crits higher than a Hybrid's Crit, or a Hybrid's regular attack.

For example...
A Pure STR does 500 damage normally.
He Crits and hits 1000 damage.

A Pure INT does 800 damage normally.
He Crits and hits 900 damage.

While the Pure INT, or Hybrid will do more overall damage than the Pure STR, the Pure STR's Critical will always be higher.

INt hybrids are proven to be very strong. STR hybrids are on the weaker side, however.

SuicideGrl proved a long time ago that Hybrid can pwn Pure builds. He was a 1:1 hybrid until level 30 then started doing 2:1 int based hybrid. He pwned so hard!

Hybrids are ok but not my type of build and i don' think hybrids are the best build for pvp either....

Well i would say best for pvp is pure STR the now cause it has mega-health but when 90 cap comes it might be pure Int or Hybrid Int.

A good hybrid can wreak havoc.

Full str bow would lack MP for the manabuff.
Hybrid bow would start to shine.

meh, only ones who like hybrids are the hybrids themselves, they suck. Period..

int hybrid is probably the best build for a spear user, pure int spears are at good ksing thats about it but 1on1 even pure int sosun spears die way too easily thats why you see many capped pure int spears switching to sword/shield or becoming dual wielders.

I like hybrids.

Love it. Specially in PvP. Staayyyinn alliiiivveee.....

for example you must be str, if you want to do brainless pumping skills in the other guy if you like more tactical pvp, be int hybrid for example (like meh)

it's just which fighting style suits you the most, and it's about your gear too

+1 it's a first char.. then when you are 30+ you start to realize that it s.ucks and start over.

Actually Hybrids reach maturity at lvl 48. I fought hybrid int 2:1 level 49 same level as me. I couldn't kill him no matter what, even with critted KD + Stab. He ended up owning me with a nuke + soul spear - truth. Then I tried again and he killed me with a lvl 47 heuksal combo + ghost spear.
