If you will be a hybrid, you should think in the Fire buffs... but i'm not sure how can Fire enter in that config you have there.

i've compared a pure str vs 70/70 at level 20 all normal gears ... pure str is better ... greater damage and survives better. some may argue abt needing to try 70/70 at lvl 80 or lvl 90 ... well, i'd stick to pure str for now.
pure str bow/light/ice is quite fun and easy to play. u lose the fire goodies for pure str ... but it works alright for me.

Well, don't know about the 90. Only thing I know is that I'm trying out a build which probably isn't the best build out there, although not a lot of people have tried it out so far.
I'm going for the 70/70 build bow as well, but with fire and lightning for the passives and the damage increases. I know that a lot of people will recommend ice, but since I don't like ice, I'm gonna do it like this. Offcourse this means you can't slow them down, which sucks with giants, but the normal mobs don't hit me or only once. It probably won't be a good pvp'er, but that's not my interest for this character. For that I can always work again on my lvl 31 pure str blader.

Well, first of all, don't look at lvl 20 but at 80, or at least 60. Second, I want to see any pure str at lvl 20 who can hit around 150 with only the imbue...Right now, I'm doing 150 with only imbue as a archer 70/70 and around 300 with an attack at lvl 17. Okay, I've got a sos+3 bow, but an 8 lvl gap, so that evens up...

Well.. pure str bow has been proved to be better at the 80 cap with the advantage of huge crits. Although, it all could change at the 9 cap. I recommend sticking with pure str.

No man ... Every time u think u got a decent damage with a 70/70. u should always be aware that the pure str version would have done more. those 70/70 great got great gears to go with. Had they been pure str, they would have been even greater.
The problem in sro lies in the imbalance of the various builds. Cookie cutter builds are still best. Any others are lies with great equipments to disguise the weakness. New skills 70-90 are intended to create a better balance.

To answer your question I suggest you drop hueksal for fire. If you lvl fire to lvl 32. you get 5%phys increase buff along with phys increase passive, and fire shield. When the new skills come out fire shield might be useless, but until then it will allow you to become immune to status at high level.
No one knows how the new skills will affect this build, well at least no one on this forum. Ksro only got the new skills about a week ago.
ONLY a WEEK ago......translation is you will be lucky if the new skills come out this decade.
One thing is certain when the skills do come out there will finally be a reason to put mp on your gear.
Oh and That is my build by the way, max ice light bow, and 32 points in fire. I am maxing both ice and lightning imbue.
