Edit incase you miss this: The file (most likely) will be bigger than your old one. For some strange reason, i dont know why, but it should stillwork. i uninstalled my silkroad,reinstalled, and got a new media.pk2, replace it with my (larger) old one, and it worked =).

A quick summary of what is in it

-Abusefilter.txt is fixed, u can swear, but no GM names, and dont abuse it..
-A new nuke for lightning nuke book 1, it's made of ice, fire, lightning nuke, and spear throw (looks odd tho)

-urchi's dragon instead of a shadow horse

-around 10 skill icons changed, medium hp/mp pot icon is changed

-Fire nuke book 1 looks like fire nuke book 2

-FIre nuke book 2 looks like fire nuke book 3

-Second Imbue Fire to 4th fire imbue[img]

-lvl 40-43 wolfs looks like those un-released "goats".. basically goat-minotaurs lol
-lvl 43+ wolfs looks like europe wolf mob (or "3rd wolf form")


To use it, back-up your media.pk2 in your silkroad folder and replace it with this one.

there might be more stuff but since i been having random fun with pk2 editing over the course of a month or so i might have left something out.

on another note, please don't steal my credit =(.
and i might or might not make a new media.pk2 when sro updates... i'm a lazy, lazy bum.

Why are you so adamant about telling PK2 editors that? What business is it of yours whether they get banned or not? You aren't going to sway anyone either way. Just let them be. If anything, they are a positive influence in the game because they can generate hype by showing new things that haven't even been featured in SUM. Focus your words on a malicious group, like botters or hackers.

You talk a lot of shit dude, the other topic you said they could get banned for it. Who has gotten banned for just changing what they see? Show the proof or stfu, only ones who have gotten banned are the ones who did GM. That they could actually see what was going on.

I've lost the count of how many times this have been said, but JM only bans pk2 edits that hurts the fair gameplay of the fellow players, as long as the changes only affect your game, your computer, and no harm is done to other players of any kind (wether it is an edit focused on affecting other's gameplay or something unfairly beneficial for you), there is no punishment from JM.

So let people enjoy this new stuff, some of them might be bound to a cloth set or weapon because in their level they get too low xp and the game turns into something monotonous. What's wrong in wanting to see something different? Even if you don't agree, who are you helping by "threatning" them with ban? It's their problem if they edit or not. If you will not help, then don't flame.

Hey, does the file actually work? I downloaded it, but it's file size is significantly larger than my current one... Will it still work?

I extracted it using WinAce.

Yeah, it'll work. Just copy and paste it into your SilkRoad folder, and when the message comes up asking you if you want to replace it, press yes. Remember to backup your file, in case you ever want to revert back to the old one.
It stands to reason that SCArchon's files are a little larger, thanks to the added stuff in his.

I'm curious. I'm never going to use a .pk2 editor until I get a full degree 8 set (which means... a long while), but I liked customizing stuff on other games.

It unpacks to like 175mb. Winzip compresses it.
