you are new and probably can't afford a lvl 16 farming weapon.
i wouldnt suggest starting over since you do have all str put in.

You should post in the character skills section right under this one. If you don't want to start over then just start leveling up fire.

Well, first off, welcome to srf ^ ^ you made a good choice coming here.
Anyways, I'd like to first say a few things, because alot of newbies come and say "I'm a pure str glavie with 99 int and 104 str" and I'm always like "THAT ISN'T PURE STR!!! ARG!!!"
So, I'd like to make sure that you've added NOTHING but strength everytime you've leveled, that is most important.
Second, sp farming isn't totally necessary, my first character never did, but I realize how much of an issue it was.
My new character is level 28 fully farmed in 3 masteries, and levels nice and fast, BECAUSE I FARMED!!
So, if you have a friend that is willing to lend you an sos level 16 bow, then you can start a new character and get to sp farming (I'll assume you know how to sp farm, so I won't explain how to do it)!
I have alittle bit of advise for you though: Don't go lightning glaive, be fire glaive. I hate strs that go lightning, it just pisses me off.
You should raise lightning tree as well, but don't get imbue (thundertiger force).
Don't raise force, bicheon, pacheon (Although you can get alittle it of pacheon if you wish (and you need to get level 7 pachoen for sp farming, but you can delevel that later)). Raising cold at this point also isn't the best idea.
Good luck on sro, I hope you are prosperous, lol.

Well restarting shouldn't be completely neccisary if your build is actually pure. Read Raingul's post about that, make sure you have added nothing but strngth to your char or it'll be tough later on.
Honestly, I don't think ANYONE's first char goes very far so use this to experiment
I never farmed until I started my current char and had no real issue, I got to 60 just fine with a 4 gap before Ito.
Keep a 3-5 gap until about 40 and you should be okay.. you might have to open your gap after 40 though, it gets ridiculous if you don't farm enough at later levels.

with my first char, i heard about farming when i was 20+.
used the char to try out quests and mobs a bit and then started
over. at that time i had also made enough money to buy my new
one some decent gear too.
i wouldnt worry too much about this.. just try the game out with
this char. level up with a small gap, upgrade fire and u be fine
- moved to Chars&Skills

It's not too late to add fire, it's (almost) never too late
I wouldn't say NEVER though... I had a character that was totally screwed 'cause I used all my sp wrong.
I say listen to other people, use this character to screw around.
Honestly, most of the best players started out as a hybrid (though you're not one) and then realise that they should start again, but the experience of playing on their first character helped them out.
Also, Look at the guide in my sig please ^ ^. Because though fire glaive is a good build, perhaps it's not for you!
My friend on troy was a pure str fire glaive and got to level 5x, then restarted because he said he much preffered the style of nukers.
Good luck man, keep coming to these forums, even if you just lurk on them, because they help alot.

The difference in damage of a fire glavie vs light glavie isn't noticeable till higher levels, lets say lvl30, and even then it wont be a big difference. Your weapon will matter a lot more.
Thats because the fire tree has the phys % increase. Since you are physical based that would do more for you then the piercing force from the magic tree. Though they both help.
I think you should just start putting a gap between your level and your skills. So you would stop leveling your skill masteries, leave them at 16 and don't raise them till you are 20. This will cause you to gain enough sp to raise 3 masteries. If you decide to stay light you could have a smaller gap. Since you wouldn't need sp for the fire tree.
If you go fire, I suggest you keep raising light for at minimum grass walk. You could stop raising light around lvl 40, at that point you can run decently fast.
If you decide at higher level you want to farm, you can, it just is a bit harder than at level 16, I am farming at lvl52 right now.
Good luck and don't worry you are doing fine, just start to pull a gap.
