i just dont get it, why you admins/mods always block topics about BOTS ?
this is a forum, it's about discussing problems and shit like this, and you guys always block topics about bots. It's like you are ignoring and denying the biggest problem in SRO. You can't change what you dont aknowlegde ( or something like that )

I just want some explenation about this.

The point of a discussion of a problem is so that we could solve or find ways to avoid the problem. There is no way we can get rid of bots, therefore the discussion is a waste of space and bandwidth.

ermm, at least we can discuss and maybe get some nice ideas, you can try.

It has been said before. The bots are and always will be there. No solution whatsoever.

But really why you make a thread to is enough of it and is three thread about it allready ..

i never saw one, cause they'll be blokced in like 5 mins.

Yes, actually I do, unless you prove otherwise, I don't see why a pm wouldn't've sufficed.

the reason they block/lock/delete the "bot" threads is cuz there are millions of them everyday. SRF cant go a day without a bot thread being made. it gets old after awhile.

ahh i give up, i guess im wrong for thinking we actually can discuss that.

i know what you mean... the mods have been going crazy latly with locking and all that stuff... mostly when we start talking about bot!

You don't know..the amount of pages we went trough,all filled with botting complaints and possible solutions as to Joymax's poor customer service.

Do a good search trough the older topics and then thou will see the horror,the horror we went trough...

we do not lock all threads about bots. the problem is, that when somebody
makes one of those threads, it mostly ends up in accusing people and believe
me, we have had a ton of these accusation threads. its just the way it is, sorry.

Posts are always locked for a reason. And as cin said above, posts about bots usually just starts arguments. I mean just look at the legendary players thread, it took all of 5 or so posts for someone to bring bots into the fray.
If you do have a question or think a post is locked unfairly feel free to PM a mod. But making a post like this, is definitely not the way to get your way.

talking about bots isn't against the rules. admission of botting, supporting the act of botting, or accusing others of botting ARE against the rules.

every bot topic ends up with these things. not until these violations surface is a thread locked in most cases.
