Hey im currently sp farmin my lvl 16 pure str at the bandit stronghold (duh).
Ive already got around 25k sp, so once im done i really want my char to be good. Originally i was goin to be a pure str glavie, but im some what concerned about how good a pure str glavie will be after the update. Would i be better off blade or bow? Or will glavie still be a powerhouse?

Thanks for your imput

Ignore above, they're imbeciles.

As for pure strength glaives, they will be more of the same.

Same two attacks, relies on good gear and criticals, average~high tanking ability, average~high damage.

Bow will become better than it is now. I am not sure if that means that it will be better than pure str glaive, but I can say it's gonna be close!
I think bow is gonna have stun and KB, same as the glaiver. Then the glaiver's only advantage is HP (a shitload of HP that is) and the archer's advantage will be higher crits due to extra Attack Rating from skills/passive.

Then there's the opinion about boring glaivers. Well I don't know what you think, but I think doing jumps, turns and nice looking combo's a lot more interesting then standing still and shooting arrows with different colors/animations around the arrows.

Range obviously is a nice feature, which makes bowers ranged glaivers and will speed up grinding, but in the end pvp is what we're here for, and I can just phantom the ~22m distance you have from me in a second.

So to sum it up
Bower: At this time it is not as good as the glaiver, perhaps in the future it will be a tie... or not.
Glaiver: current pvp-ruler. If it will stay that way I don't know, but it will always be a powerhouse with mega HP and good alround damage and big crits.

its only about 1.5K hp more, not really alot...

am thinking of changing my glaive to bow skills instead :/

bow 80
bicheon 80

i only got glaive because of stun, but now if bow have it + long range

Kd stab stab stab > phantom > charge stun skill with bow
