How are pure int s/s for PvP?

I'm looking for a decent PvP char beside the usual pure str Glaive.

I hear these things about int characters not doing as well as str chars in PvP. Is this true?

INT chars are better from about 30 - 55, and they always do more damage then str.

STR chars have more hitpoints = live longer. so you can see that eventually having uber hp winz in the end ? note that some str builds hit nearly as much as a nuker. so. yeah.- Try blade or bow

Blade = knockdowns uber defence best for 1v1 (my opinion)

Bows = good for teamplay becuase they hit fast and moderate damage with range.

Pure INT are alwas good for pvp, unless they are bow.

you are just asking from 1 "usual" build to another. all usual builds can hold their own. depends on the equipment and the player.

do what u feel most comfortable with.

By "usual" I meant alot of people associate PvP with STR Glaives. I was wondering what other viable options there were. But right now I am considering between Pure STR Bow and Pure INT S/S.

until about lvl 60, a sword will dominate an pure str archer.

castle shield makes the sword invincible then he just straight nukes the archer and all the archer can do is run away with a shield or try to freeze the sword user if hes not immune.

i think at lvl 60 my hp outweighed their nuking power, now when they turn castle shield i just take out a shield and see if i blocks something in those 15 secs. after those 15 secs i just need a good set of hits to bring em down, usually an antidevil crit will do unless they have a full sos+++ set of armor, then its antidevil crit with another skill after it.

sadly a large portion of the sro world's sword users dont use castle shield, so they get owned right away.

Aside from PvPing against each other, how do Str Bows compare with Int S/S against other classes.

I am a pure int s/s
best combo for int s/s is nuke, kd, stab, phantom, than repeat

a good br on the shield, crit and mag attack and reinforce are keys
but gear plays a big role in ur success regardless of ur build

My gm is a hybrid s/s and from what I've heard from him, he does good in pvp. Lvl 77 right now and killing/tanking 80's.
