They have a limit of 3000 ppl on a server so of course they have to kick you off. I Got in last night for the first time in a month and got disconnected within an hour. Stupid JM's plan to earn more money.

was to lazy to read all but 2 things are sure:
1. JM OVERDID IT WHIT PT!  i mean +3 int/str sxp /xp boost,
alchemy boost 9realy overdoing it  ),AND lets not forget premium ticket quest(now this made me MAD  ) i mean realy they add quest just for PT users and looky here its sp getting quest if some1 thinks that they didnt overdid it plz post here so i can flame on him...lol
2. JM will NEVER REMOVE THERE BIGEST MONEY GIVER i mean ticket costs 150-200 silks man do u realy think they would remove item that exxpensive that is soo popular..answer: NO WAY

Sorry I am stupid for buying a premium ticket.
But this argument is pretty split. I bet all the people that click "Yes" don't have a ticket and all the people who clicked "No" have one (a premium ticket for the slow ones out there). heh

Hmm well I never really had that problem when my PT ran out. I played for a few weeks with out one too.
I only bought a PT for the alchemy bonus. The rest of the stuff is just perks .

I'll explain better why servers wont get to 5000/3000
When servers go over 3000 they dont let any regular user log in, and the total number of people logging off, getting DC or having their game crash is bigger than the number of premium user connecting during a given period. Whenever the server goes at 2999/3000 premium user are transfered to regular spots. That is why even if 2000 premium user are connected at the same time it wont be 5000/3000, it will be 3000/3000 but only 1000 places will be available for non-PT players.

Don't give me the rev6 bull because rev6 is no where near accurate.
If you say PT users can still logging for example when the server is at 3000/3000, PT user logs in - > 3001/3000 how come non-PT users can still login?
Again don't say "well rev6..." because rev6 is not accurate.

Simple fact is, its a free game. You are playing this game for FREE. Joymax is spending countless hours making this so you can play for FREE. Now. if someone is paying for this game, then they DESERVE to be able to log in 1st try.
Also, stop saying that the servers are always full. Before my SRO pc decided to burn out its graphics card, i had re rolled on Olympus. Was farming there for about a month. On weekend's i was playing from 10 am till 6pm and the server was always POPULATED!. During the weekdays after i got back from school, it didnt really become hard to log in until night time.
If you live in an area which has bad log in times, then it suxs to be you. Maybe u should go out and create your own free game, where everyone can log in 1st time and never have to pay money. Stop dam complaining, go out, get a job, earn $20 a month, stop being poor, and buy a PT. And dont say crap like "not all of us can afford it". If you can afford an internet connection each month, a computer capable of running SRO, then surely u can manage another $20 into your budget. Or work another 1-2 hours a week to get that extra $20. The time u spend working u will be made up by countless hours that u wont spend trying to log in.
NOTE: Ive never brought a PT, infact, due to time restraints ive never brought silk. Yet i still have these opinions. You have to remember joymax is a company trying to make some money. And they are just supporting their customers.

I don't have a PT and I don't think they should be removed. I played with one a little over 2 months ago and I received more disconnects than I am getting now without one.
Also, rev6 is accurate now. Server capacity is more than 3,000. It is just capped at 3,000 so when there are PT users pushing it over that number we don't all suffer from crippling lag.
It is because of silk buyers, and especially PT buyers, that you get Silkroad servers at all. If there weren't people paying Joymax good amounts of money, there would be no new servers. There would be no North American office. No more than 3 GMs. And most importantly no updates!
So I don't think its wrong that PT users get to sign on before you and I. They pay for the servers, why shouldn't they get some preference when they want to get on? If you want to sign in easier, you can put 20 dollars towards running the severs and keeping Joymax employees paid. If you aren't willing ... Well okay, but don't complain about the people that make it possible for you to play for free.
Signing on is a privilege, not a right. If you can't appreciate a gift, then go play another game.

I notice that after the PT came out, my d/c rate per week took a dramatic jump. I have no doubt Joymax randomly disconnect a non-PT person each time someone with a PT logs on

Don't care about that PT really. Don't need it either, logging in never really takes THAT long, I prefer the SP-Ticket, and the alchemy luck?

It has to do with server load, and the amount of people you think you can fit into the areas (which is why new servers start out with a lower cap). It is only used to determine if someone can log in, but has nothing to do with the actual limit of logins the server can handle.

I reckon the premium tickets and the server limit is all a scandal of some sort.
For one, i wonder if anyone noticed the crowdedness of servers increased?....Before premium was implemented, servers were usually POPULATED when i got home from school on weekdays, now i see servers being CROWDED 24/7..(well for xian anyways). Why?, i believe joymax is purposely taking up slots themselves limiting the server so people CANT connect and NEED to buy premiums...
For those saying joymax don't dc non premium users for premium users, then has anyone thought of the fact that joymax randomly d/c non premium users on purpose themselves?...making them grow tired of logging back in and once again NEED to buy premium...
And last, how bout someone explain to me why the new servers (according to rev6) only have a max capacity of 2500 and 2000?...maybe this is to once again to limit the servers so people cant logging and NEED to buy premium... Of course limiting the servers would be alot better than taking spots up themselves, otherwise it would prove to be a bit fishy having a newly opened server as crowded as old servers which have the same server capacity. If so why dun you tell joymax to stabilize their servers before releasing new ones...this is what they want you to think.

Considering that I have a non-silk account that I use regularly, and with which I cannot remember my last DC, I seriously doubt your first statement is true.
The new servers have lower capacity to prevent 3000 people all roaming in the low level areas. I am sure the server can handle 3000 people, but I doubt the players would like to share the low level areas with 3000 people. It is just an artificial way of keeping the areas from overpopulation, and I think the server cap will increase as the people grow higher level.

I buy silk when i feel the need and recently i've been buying less and less because even if i wanted too I can't on a server long enough to equip a PT to my character and i'd get d/c before i could probably get a chance to use it.
The game is F2P we know that so we know we can't expect WoW service but if your paying $1385 per month on this shitty F2P game i'd be pissed at the Zero improvements done to it....thats if your against gold buying and botting...if your not then im sure your just loving it...

So really kid don't give me that shit. don't be mad at us because we know where to draw the the line with priorites...you charged like $1385 to a F2P what are you retarded whose money is that anyway....i remember being on Olympus and someone telling me where you got your money from so lets nto talk about freeloading.... If SRO was supposed to cost $1385 a month it wouldn't be a F2P game....The botting problem, the CCF, the Spammers its all gotten completely out of control and JM isn't doing a dam thing to fix it. I buy silk when i feel the need and recently i've been buying less and less because even if i wanted too I can't on a server long enough to equip a PT to my character and i'd get d/c before i could probably get a chance to use it. The game is F2P we know that so we know we can't expect WoW service but if your paying $1385 per month on this shitty F2P game i'd be pissed at the Zero improvements done to it....thats if your against gold buying and botting...if your not then im sure your just loving it... 13850 is all time not a month .. dunno why it says month tho.
Anyways what so I like this game, have a good job . .and enjoy it? I just hate it when the people who don't pay a cent bitch about it ..... Get me a thread where i totally slagged off Joymax .. you won't find it cause I love this game. And lol at the ' rumor ' I like jealous people
