just a comment on the race war issue
European vs Chinese
apparently the european race has the advantage of cleric and buffers, and both excel in wat they specialize: healing and buffer spells. so therefore, it is to be expected that if there is going to be a race war between the european and chinese, there will be quite a few of buffers and clerics in the side with the europeans.
however, i believe that the chinese race also has a few advantages that will bring them back to the game.
it is perhaps true that the chinese race characters are designed to withstand harsh circumstances and is more of the "independent" type, due to their capability to surivive alone in the wild. think about a whole army of warriors who are strong enough to not depend on others and is able to hold on their own. as long as the chinese set the annihilation of clerics and buffers as top priority, they should be able to even out the odds. in other words, if the chinese aim to kill of all the clerics and buffers FIRST in a massive race war, the chinese WILL HAVE a huge advantage over the european race
so i would say, it will be a pretty even fight.

allright for those who have played Euro, I am wanting to create a Rouge, Xbow. Pure str.
What would be a good sub class? I will be using Xbow all the time so I am looking for something that will give me the best Buffs.
Thanks

subclass buffs dont really carry over too well, but if anything, probably cleric (a heal over time spell, heal over 16 seconds that carries, and i think an protector armor passive carries over if you are wearing protector, which is what rogue wears anyways)
plus you can ressurect your party if the main cleric dies.

And you keep those pasive even when you dont have the cleric rod equipped?

I have heard that thiefs can attack a one star trader in the new update if the 1* is level 40 or higher... if that is the case, why run a 1* why not a 5* But then again this person may have been feeding me a line of bull. I hope this is the right place to put this question. If not sorry, I am still a noob here at SRF. But, you all have been a big help.

Euros have no imbue. To use their weapon, they only need one tree of skills, everything they need for passives and buffs is there.
However, being in party boosts their attack and defense due to buffs given by the support classes (cleric/bard). Euros don't train more than two trees simply because they don't need it, even with one tree you can do good, sub-classes only give you minor buffs that don't make a crucial difference as far as i've experienced.

you guys, some thoughts:
i think that eventually they will raise the euro mastery to be able to accommodate 2 full masteries. why? right now, in ksro, that is available. yes, there is no more strange mastery maximum level rising, but straight up +2 per level. right now, level 11 bard, maximum mastery 22. now, it didnt use to be like this even in ksro, thats why i think they will change it (such as when they add the much higher level euro skills)

X thats the way it is in cSRO i don't think iSRO mentioned anything about bringing that rule here....so as far as anyone knows you can still be lvl 40 and 1*ing Well, they never said they wouldn't put it in. And.. the thing with not running a 5* is the fact that your 5* will be spawning 10 thieves at every spawn.. and occasionally have 20. If you can kill 10-20 red thieves, then be my guest I think they'll bring it over since JM likes to copy stuff over from kSRO, just not all the good stuff silverstorm1 wrote: GUYS.... how the f**k will euro characters be able to compete with chinese when euro can not even have 2 full trees.... so will it just be like, no one will build good pvp chars, they'll all build chars that do a good job in a party? what the... and whats the best new PVP to make, im thinking rogue d-daggers.
As Tetsumaru pointed out above, kSRO has the ability for Euro chars to hold two complete masteries. This was patched only a few weeks ago, and should be expected in the Euro patch (with 80 skills / equipment cap.. hopefully). And there wasn't strange mastery maximum level rising.. it was 1.8x instead of the current 2x

So 1 vs 1 = Chinese victory
Party vs Party = Euro victory.
Will this destroy the jobwars @ dw east?
