 Post subject: Server Undergoing Inspections?

Hi, i cant play silkroad, when i click on the icon it says Server is undergoing inspections please go to http://www.silkroadonline.net for more information, and then the normal screen comes up but the news isnt there nor the start button, help please!

(PS: i also did the host file thing and i have reinstalled 3 times, after i reinstall i am able to play but when i exit and come back its down, and i can't open the silkroad website it says its down.)

Ok, I have the same problem, however i can acess the SRO website with a proxy. I think we might have been banned as a mistake..!

I have the same problem. I don't think we got ban. My bro can't open that site as well. He live in different town from me. He isn't a SRO player.

On the other hand, if they banned you. you should be able to access their site to download the original client. That's what their post said on the last inspection. However, we cannot even go to their site.

i have the same problem but i cant download the manuel patch because i get and error when i try to go to http://www.silkroadonline.net

my friend is sending me the latest manual patch off the website so ill update the game and see if the site will work, maybe maybe not

I was thinking the same thing. When I used a proxy I was able to access the site just fine. Buuuut... My IP was changed and I was still unable to access the site without the proxy.

Juicy: I tried installing the manual patch yesterday and it didn't work, but I wish you good luck. Let us know how it goes please?

mine have the same problem, started yesterday!! since then i cannot connect to sro client..

are you guys from usa/canada?? i called my ISP they said they received reports regarding poeple cannot play silkroadonline or browse the website.
did joymax block all N.Amercia access?

Ok I tried opening the required TCP ports then start up SRO, however that does NOT work also, but I think I've narrow down the problem to the game client software, because after I've disconnected my computer from the internet by turning off my cable modem and unplugging it, when I run SRO it still pops up with the message "The server is undergoing inspection". someone e needs to resolve this please! Because I'm still unable to access their website while my friends whom never played SRO are able to, is there something wrong with my computer? Or SRO it self?

I'm from Canada, but I know a guy from the States who is able to connect fine. What's your provider Juicy? I use Shaw.

Im using shaw too...but shaw said it happened in USA too...where shaw doesnt have service in that..so i dont think its shaw's problem

hmm interesting i use Shaw also, but with my internet connection absolutely turned off, the message error of server undergoing inspection still pops up.

I'm on shaw, no sro website access or game access, haven't used any bot programs, so why is my ip blocked? it started friday when I got home from work I logged on just fine then got d/c'ed tried to login again and it said server is undergoing updates/inspection, went to the site to see what was up and it say bad gateway or DNS not found, really annoying. Joymax may have got rid of bots but also half of everyone else, I know 5 other people in my area who have the same problem. the sad part is that I had just bought silk cause friday was my payday and now this...will I get a refund? lmao..I won't be counting on it.

any suggestions?

phone to shaw!! its shaw problem...my friends use telus they have no problem..tell them about DNS error, gateway timeout... tell them to refresh DNS, tell that guy to open http://www.silkroadonline.net ...he probably cannot connect either..tell them telus have no problem

thanks for calling and letting us know disconnected. can you let us know if they get back to you or anything?

It seems like there might be a ban against Shaw itself... if thats even possible... Either way it's Shaw customers having troubles.
