kk I fixed this god dang problem.!!!
The problem was Shaw Secure blocked up SRO in the program list, after you unblock everything go into C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc open up HOSTS with notepad then do this
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# YOUR IP ADReSS goeS HERE # source server
# 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com # x client host
And then save it, and BOOM you can play SRO again!! you can thank me by giving me stuff on QuicksnSlow on Persia

Oh and QuickSandSlowly, that "solution" was picked up from the SRO forum, it has NOTHING to do with ISP blocking anything at all, that his a LOCAL solution in case your computer's firewall is not allowing certain communications, thus inputing that in your host can unblock the communication, although the method is only valid if one's firewall accepts HOSTS inputs.

Regardless, whether or not it was Shaw Cable, ISP ban, whatever, the problem seems to be resolved for me. All on its own...

I'm using shaw and I can connect the the site fine, not sure on the gme yet, though il try later.
P.S. My familly will never ever use rogers for anything again (phone, internet, etc.), not after we ended up having to pay them twice (used debit card one month, first transaction said it didn't go through, so we did another, yet on our bank bill, it showed 2 transactions to rogers, both for the same amount of money) one bill, and they wouldn't refund us the money we deserved. [/rant]

Rogers(cable) > Bell(dsl), I know, I worked for both companies. But the best ISP is still Videotron(cable) in Quebec with insane speeds and pings =)
