I generally kill giants since there stuck in the road if ya dont...just have to be a little more cautious as a euro. And I prefer using my zerk to ks all the damn bots at ishades :D

From my own experience, a Rogue with a wolf and a bit of strategie, can kill a giant even 2 lvl above him, with no zerk at all, its not easy task, but can be done.

The worst one are Kokorus & Peritons because the F....... mobs are so fast, can come again from the knock-back in no time. Anyway, the only trick is watch your hp gauge, use Vigor, and if hp go half, let the wolf tank the mob until you recover.

PD: Tou can Start (and finish)with Xbow, but its better to switch to dague, you will kill the giant a bit faster.

it must be slow to kill them with 1 hand xD just kiding:)

as a rogue I can only handle them without xbow xtreme but its slow that way
so i only fight general mobs

Even dual-axe/2hand warriors destroy same level giants.

I can solo Sungsung giants (not party ones) easily..

Dude, you should try out a euro char before making pointless threads. ;)

With a pure int cleric and a zerk, i can easily kill my level giant 1v1....
That's a pure int euro, and a cleric - meaning, the worst one for soloing...
The gear is normal, no sos, not even a single +3 item.

The key lies in buffs. With a cleric, you just zerk on him, let him hit you a bit, use a pot, then call Bless Spell (lasts 45 seconds) and finish it off. Bless spell at 24 lvl adds more defense than a chinese lvl 69 SOS protector chest. Not too shabby for a "weakling" euro, huh?
Now imagine a rogue/cleric with high hits, plenty of hp and a bless spell...

Hmmm not to mention that euro chars are supposed to fight in groups with a healer and a buffer.

wait till you get to caves ;)
oversized giants + small rooms ==> no escape, unless you use a zoomhack

i generally don't die to giants now tho :P

cleric bless + warlock zerk usually does the trick.

If any wizard over 32 has trouble with giants then all I can say is :?

Fear, root, freeze, and knockback are there for a reason. Use it!

My euro character eats giants for break fest ^^
Euro is overpowered that's why they put 15 sec delay to balance it -.-

Im pure int lv 38 wizzy. I kill giants all the time. All you have to do is use your pet. Your pet can easly tank while you nuke. The key is don't go spazzing while nuking. Nuke, wait or kill a near by mob then go back and nuke again. Its slower but it still can be done.

What I do most of the time is if im grinding in a spot that I want to stay around for a bit and a gaint spawns. You take a step back to safe spot and use your pet to pull the giant out to you. Then set your bird/dog on attack and go kill othere mobs. Stoping back in every once in a while to nuke/dot and keep grinding. Most of the time I don't even have to heal my pet but for the most part I will heal them one time.

I have even gotten bored and solo'ed a party gaint with my pet.. LOL 2 stacks of healing pots for pet and 20 mins later. I got my kill :P

The key is learning how much your pet will keep aggro and staying just under that.
