i know lots of people has been getting lags lately even me, but this is the question i want an answer to.

is this lag caused by the game or our network connection?
since there are so many people lagging i cant say im 100% sure that its caused by our network connection, considering there cant be so many people having problems with their net.

But, when i do lag i end task the game and see that my net speed, signal strength and status shows signs of disconnection. (My net speed, signal strength and status drops)

So my question, is this lag from the game or my network connection?
btw, my bros comp is working fine, no lags. This makes things even more confusing.

edit/ or is my net stuffing up BECAUSE of this game? ive realised that sometimes i get disconnected straight after i run the game.

i dont lag unless im on my chinese character.

i think it fucks up when i use imbue and a skill.

my euro never lags.

i think its my internet connection i need to get High speed internet instead of normal internet

you can get lag on a wireless network even if you get good numbers from speed test,

check and make sure nothings wrong with your network card, update drivers, etc., all that stuff to make sure...

i had problems with my wireless network (lag every 2 minutes or so) but when i moved i got a new computer and put my internet on a wire... so i don't have network problems anymore... but it's probrably on your end.

yes i am using a wireless network. does that mean i can never play this game again?

and dont tell me to go get a new computer, my mum doesnt even let me get a fken graphics card.

before i had 24mb/s ~ constant lagg

now i have 2mb/s - new company ~ no lagg at all O.o

I get no lag and I'm on a shit connection.

and i must say it's stable and i don't experience much lag unless it's the sro server

some internet connection are 1337 supa fast, but not stable ...

it's better to have a slighty higher ping which is steady then a lower ping that sometimes blasts up

I play silkroad on my laptop with wireless.

Yes I do experience lag (both FPS lag and ping lag. FPS is conditional to what Im running on my computer). Even on wireless connection, I never get disconnected from silkroad, only sometimes have slow server response times. If this type of lag is happening more than I can tolerate, I simply just restart the silkroad client.

I voted for "The game, Joymax" since the disconnects have gotten extreme after the update. It even gets almost impossible to maintain a full eight person party because one or two members are bound to get disconnected after a short while of playing.

It would be so easy to say **** Joymax they cause all the lag. But alot of the time its YOUR crappy connection. Get better internet

There should be an option for computer hardware. I have a pimp computer and never get any lag. I have a DSL connection which isnt too spectacular.

I think the only times I ever get lag are when im downloading stuff XD

I only lag when my isp fucks up and the internet goes really slow. When the speeds are normal, I don't lag.

Also, you could have the fastest connection ever, but if you have packet loss then you will lag.

i only lag when my internet goes really slow as well. but the problem is that my internet goes slow all the time. this has never happened before, started happening this week.
