Shit happens.
They are virtual items.
If they mean so much to you, i suggest you go outside sometime today. These 'Virtual Items' as you say can cost $300+ just ask D2A >.> All my virtual items ( 20+ billion gold & 100+ Sosuns) that I got for nothing definitely worth a whole lot more than $300. Heck, people offered to western union me $15,000+ for my account but I politely declined every offer.
Why just why do you ALWAYS need to show off ?
I really don't get it.

I've lost a good amount of items to other players, former friends, former guildmates. If I could hax, I'd take my stuff back and move on. I worked hard to take care of my guild and there's one person in particular who took major advantage of that.
Scamming happens. You've just gotta make things a bit easier for yourself and not trust anyone I do though, think I can trust two people other than myself with my account, purely because one of them is like a brother to me.

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know how people can bring themselve to do something as selfish as that, scamming a friend However, not all people are like that. I personally have never been scammed before even though many people got access to my account with full sosuns and my guild storage with a bazillion gold and sosun garm/armor/prot set. But I know how it would feel like if someone I know would get greedy over some virtual items. Yes, but if they got greedy and looted your storage, you could just hack them all back though. No big loss there lol... was thinking same thing to me.
huh?

Greed and jealousy can bring out the worst in people.
It sucks that it happened to you, especially by someone you believed you could trust. However, you live and learn, and hopefully you can take something away from this so that it won't happen to you again.
Best of luck to you.

therefore saying that D2A is a hacker and why he is sooo good?
I wish I could see D2A in action.

Your eyes dont deserve to see the purity and majesty of D2A in action.
Isnt it funny how 1/4 of threads in this forum end up being about D2A

tedtwilliger wrote: Look at his sig, hes lvl 2x. I have no doubt in my mind that they were low lvl sox. If they were high lvl he wouldnt of mentioned the elixers as they would of bared no loss to him. Also i re rolled on greece, i started a new server to play with a good mate of mine. I have been semi active and at lvl 30 i have 3m, a wolf, and a female gdf. Geez making money isnt hard! If i can do that in 2 semi active weeks you can get 5m in 3 months of grinding. Note that i started on greece with 150k.
And @ topic starter, go out and grind 500k. Use that to buy and re sell items. With about a week of work and if you know what you are doing you should have about 15 or so mill. Alternatively you could grind for a week and use the alchemy ingredients you get to make elements, preferably grind on something that supplies wind2. Then go and sell those elements and then use the profit to buy and re sell stuff.
Making money isnt hard. Peoples inability to spend some hard time to re-cooperate what they have lost defies me.
And of course, we all know the value of friendship is completely based on level and the value and ease of the item recovery time.
Im sure you speculate and balance all your friendships on such a scale and are the richer for it. The topic starter is a fool for being hurt at this betrayal of trust which for him took a far longer time to build than his meager fortune.
More people should be callous and shallow like you ted.

I haven't yet been wrong in lending people some of my items/asking them to look after them for me.
Sure, I've lost the odd low level sos (lvl 16ish farming gear), but that was because he disappeared off the face of the planet, but then I did eventually get it back.
There are 3 people I would try my account with, and those 3 people know who they are

just like in real life, the rule of thumb is never lend out more than you are prepared to completely write off.
when you guys get older, you will inevitably have frends, even close long time ones who will approach you for money, real money. the question is, how much are you prepared to part with and never get back?
