Same happened to me, I bought a 72 spear for 3mill to pimp out for when I was 72. Amazingly it went straight to +6 without astral immortal or lucky. Thinking my luck was in I tried for 7 -.- big mistake.

well it was a lvl 16 som but it was matching my som 16+5 sword for thieving :'( I loved it now I need to sell my som sword and switch to hunter, I think it's the first step lol...
