Well I won't post this on the "screenshots" thread because this is more of a question.

I had a +5 SoS spear (degree 5), but I got bored of the low damage. So I bought a SoM one and tried to make it +5. After 20 minutes and over 120 weapon elixirs (not to mention I didn't notice it was +4 and screwed the astral it had -.- then back to zero), I managed to upgrade it to +5, but it costed me over 45m (including the 25m for the spear).

Now I'm wondering, was it worth it to spend all that time if I could just buy a +5 one for that cash? Because when you buy something you feel the same, but I accomplished something and I feel good about it, pretty proud of myself for being 100% legit and working my ass off to have what I have nowadays, no botting, no credit card fraud, sharing, nor macro usage.

Not sure what server your on but I could buy a +5 som 5 deg for the 25 mil you payed to buy yours...so unless your on a newer server I would say it was not worth it....if your on a new server and someones gonna pay you close to what it cost to make then its worth it if your gonna use it a bit.

Hope your doin some farmin if ya got a som....if your just 0 gappin or somethin then a som is not worth it.

It's Greece and the prices are so high because it's a stall revolution (??), everyone's selling their items way more expensive now, it's been like that for 2 months or so, also, I started leaving gap at lvl 30 and yeah I'll have 9gap so the spear is really gonna help against the orange mobs

I normaly buy my high + weps/shields. I NEVER use astral, it is a big waste of real money imho. I have +5'd one shield and a couple of weps but I normaly only try shields because the elixirs are so cheap. I buy all my +7 and higher stuffs. I guess it was worth it if you can at least break even on the sale

I don't know about this stuff, any regular item above +3 makes my day, finding a +3 or better in a stall for under 1 mil is solid enough for me.

quit wasting your parents money on astrals and buy pre-pimped!

Personally, I think you wasted a lot of hard-earned cash unless you are really into PVP, but that makes me no less jealous of your SOM +5.

its only worth it if you can afford it, i spent over 50m to pimp out a 6th degree european light armor set only because i can afford it...

lol... I only spent 10M to put some nice blues in my 71-76 set... why are you guys buying stones first of all?

most people get there own elements nowa days so why not use stones?

buying pre-pimped is easier said than done. everything is driven by market forces. if you find it hard to pimp, everyone in general will also find it hard. so why would they sell it to you cheap? i think the important thing here is balance. pimp some buy some.

and u only have like 70mil or so.
i suggest u save your gold for the higher the degree u wil need it .

That's just some gold I had on my storage for alchemy and weapon upgrades

mannn i never even had close to that money when i was that lvl i only had about 5mil
every item i found i npc'ed it cos i had no time to stall unless it was sos and i give them to my friend to stall
