what keeps me motivated? the new skills and having fun while jobbing.

I dont have any motivation to grind, I never had any.

My motivation is for glory, honor, and when my character dies to take my seat next to Odin in Valhalla... not really.

My motivation now to farm is the satisfaction of finally having a capped + farmed character which i can use to help my friends, guildmates, and unionmates to get rich by hunting for them. Also to be able to have some real pvp fun for once.

reaching the cap is what makes the game fun!

My motivation is just clean plain fun. Nothing more nothing less. And the anticipation of finally getting a sosun drop after a kill.
