finnaly a guide after i been asking about it and never got the help how to get on it but i guess thats my fault for not pming none of the mods now that theres finaly a guide i kinda lost my intrest and curiosity in joining

i got a quick question i set it up to hotkey i made backslash \ as my button i was wondering im guessing i have to hold it down to talk but then
i get that noise when u hold the same key for long time prrrrrrrrrring noise
does this affect how i speak and ppl hear me or it has no affect at all
becuase when i press \ while im in srf post message like now i dont get that noise when i hold down \ but then when im just on vent window i get that anoying noise i feel dumb for talking becuase i always think somone is goingto say stop making that stupid noise wen i hold down \ as my talk button can somone confirm it has no affect

some keys have this effect when in the vent window, try using left controll (thats what I use)

oh ok thanks im gona set it up now dam now i only got 1 problem on vent but this problem is device problem my mic sounds weird on vent ppl say it sound like a fan is next to me o.o i guess i need a new mic for srf vent but my mic works good on msn and i tried the amplify thing i set outubound and inbound and clicked on use direct sound yet no luck :S if this bothers alot of ppl then ill just stay silent and just type while i listen to u all o.o

very silent atm gtg to bed hopefully i wake up and see the srf vent filled with alot of ppl talking

try taking your mic away from your mouth if thats not it, make sure your mic boost is off, if its on and you turn it off and people say your too quiet, turn your outbound up
