I know SRO is like a global game, but why are there so many people who can't speak English?
I can't understand anyone when I play the game. Like for instance, when I exchange with someone, all they say is, "yes? yes? no? no?"... and all I say is wtf do you want?... so annoying.
Especially considering the fact that I can't login in the morning, and I login perfectly fine at night, is kinda weird... cause most people play during the night. .. Or is it just my server that's weird? cause when I look through forums, I can't seem to find anyone who plays on my server (Red Sea)..lol
btw I live in New York.
and I'm just saying this cause it's been on my mind and I've been wondering whether anyone out there feels the same. o.O

If they can't speak English well, chances are they wont be browsing this forum often (thus not voting on your poll). Don't know what you're trying to get out from your poll though.
Might be a bit silly of me but I wouldnt assume everyone on USA to speak perfect English "in-game" either. But, I know what you mean though. One word conversations can be frustrating.

Just because we're not from USA we can't SPEAK english... I'm from asia. I don't know if my english sucks or not. And the servers are populated when it's daytime here... so lucky me... no login problems and no lag.

NC here. I've only gotten one trade request from a random person ever. It was (apparently) for my first character's 3rd degree 2h sword. The _stock_ sword. It's like people with little to no grasp of English seem to get mad in game when you can't read their mind or something.
Then there was the guy from Turkey who kept hounding me demanding to know if I'm male or female. O_o
Granted, American players aren't much better when it comes to demands and communication, it seems...
I've a very simple rule I like to follow: if a random player doesn't at least introduce themselves first, I don't accept party invites. I was constantly bombarded a few days ago on an alt while hunting bandit archers. I kept asking questions and got no response... just a dozen party requests from the SAME PERSON.
My finger subconsciously found itself on the alt key more than once that day...

Yep. English is my third language too.
No need to be too demanging. Not everyone in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America can learn English. And many dont even want to. Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese are as much important in some fields and professions as English.

That's called bot auto-invite setting.
Botters can set their bots to invite automatically. You'll see plenty of that in higher levels
Dont want that - uncheck "Party invite" in Options.

Oh the irony.
USA is the only option in a poll about the English language?
How amusing, maybe when your country speaks it properly, it'll be suited for a poll like this.

Okay...I didn't read all the replies but the game itself is in English.
If you're not comfortable speaking English, then why play the English version?
..aren't there other versions out there?
and btw I'm not American myself, I'm Korean.
So then you ask why I don't play the ksro? cause English is my first language, and I'm more comfortable with it.
someone said, "If they can't speak English well, chances are they wont be browsing this forum often (thus not voting on your poll). Don't know what you're trying to get out from your poll though. "
but actually, as I read some guides and convos on this site, I sometimes have no idea what they're talking about.
but I know what you mean about the "in-game" convo talk; I do that too, but what I say is comprehensible.
One thing i'd like to point out about SRO though, is that conversing is very hard in this game. Unlike in the mmorpg Maplestory, it's very easy to talk with someone.
