It works for me so why wouldn't it work for you :D

First go to the silkroad folder ( most of the times in program files>silkroad ).
When you're in the silkroad folder you have 4 .exe files, i removed the silkerrsender against the ???? error.
Right click on sro_client and go to properties>go to compatability>tick the box of the first option and select Win98/WinMe in the dropdown menu>
click on ok or apply.
Do this for all the .exe files in the folder and you have a sro without crashes ( for me atleast :D )

Credits go to Yutiana of Aege for he told me about this trick
( im sure he got it from another source but I dont know it and I dont want to track it down :P )

Hmm, sounds like something.

But I dont really want to try it yet incase it screws up my computer.. Sort of waiting for others to test this, im in a state where if my comp screws up im a bit doomed for school.

I think the only difference between this and the default settings is that when your client crashes next time, it wont notify you of crashing (with the ??? error thingie)>.>

i have been using this method since about a week after euro update and it works , what it does is makes 1 core / cpu to be used instead of 2 , u can see this by going to task manager and clicking on silkroad exe and set affintry or somthing u can see that only one cpu is turned on.

it wont get u banned stop being scared

Silkroad is not multithreaded. It won't use 2 cores/CPUs anyway.

The weird thing is if manually set it to 1 core it still crashes, it is something else :P

Well my sro crashed like 1 time in a half hour, so stalling wasnt an option.
Also i didnt have a premium so logging in was like hell

By deleting those files you have chances to get even more errors :)
