Should Wizard forgo their lightning skills except Teleport?

hi all i would like to know whether it is a good idea to forgo lightning skills as a wizard to save sp?

Well I can't vote since I always take Lightning Shock...however check out the wiz guide in progress thread. One point made is skipping lightning.

No. You want the knockback and Fear. You can definitely drop the Lightning Bolt though.

the KB and fear from lighting is one of the only useful things wizards can do in PvE as far as im concerned...im not a wizard but between the lighting skillz and the ice skillz they've saved me life sometimes and it really makes it easier to handle mobs...so for the sake of PvE plz keep your lightning

So wizards should max all lightning skills except lightning bolt and chain lightning. Anybody can give me advice?
